You're about to see the one true love that you haven't seen in a long time, you can't wait to see him/her. They make your heart skip a beat, they make your eyes flutter, you just can't seem to shake them off your mind. When you finally arrive to your lover's home you walk in the to see that they're dead. Oh, the pain and anguish that you are feeling. The one who has been on your mind for the whole day is now dead. Never to speak to again. These are some of the feelings that the characters feel through the book Romeo and Juliet, written by the famous poet Shakespear. The two star crossed lovers (Romeo and Juliet) want to be together, but their families despise each other. This story supports how relationships must have trust, respect, and love
In this essay, I will be examining Shakespeare’s treatment of relationships in Romeo and Juliet. As a poet and playwright, he wrote 154 sonnets, 2 long narrative poems and 38 plays, one of his most famous plays being Romeo and Juliet. There are many different types of relationships between characters, and these are essential to the play. The prologue tells us that the play is about two star-crossed lovers from two feuding families, the Montagues and Capulets. There is hatred between these two families, this explains this, ‘Thou villain Capulet’. This quote suggests because of the hate between their families, the lovers are doomed from the start.
The relationship shown in Act 3 Scene 5 between Juliet and Lady Capulet is portrayed as poor. Lady Capulet is shown as a very distant mother, though this is to be expected when there is a Nurse taking care of the child from the early stages of the child’s life.
Love is something everyone feels, and is different for everyone. It can make people do things that they could never see themselves doing. It impacts everyone in their day to day lives. In Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, love is shown in a variety of ways and can make people do crazy things. Love can be friendly, forced, or romantic.
Relationship is described as an emotional or other connection between people. The book Of Mice and Men and “Romeo and Juliet” both have similar relationships. These relationships are built around different circumstances and situations. George and Lennie only have each other which creates a better relationship. Romeo and Juliet had large families to support and love them. They grew up surrounded by strong families. When they met violence between the families forced them to choose family or each other. How does one have a strong enough bond after two days to turn away from a family whose has been supporting them throughout their lives? A solid relationship is not created in two days, but built through good and bad life experiences. Even though Romeo and Juliet have a relationship of love and forgiveness, George and Lennie still have the stronger
Life and joy left the bodies of two teenagers in love as they died on the cold stone floor of a tomb, looking at their loved one’s lifeless body. The blossoming love of two young and sanguine lovers turned dark and perilous as their undying love for each other lead to their untimely deaths. Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is a story of two adolescents whose only ambition, to be together, was deterred by copious amounts of obstacles and setbacks. Their inextinguishable love was tested by opposing parents, feuding families, marriage proposals and morbid murders. While the adolescent brain and the brain in love are partially responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, Fate is mostly to blame.
In William shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, we follow the tale of two lovers from enemy/warring families. They get married, only to have Romeo banished for revenging the death of his friend by killing Tybalt Juliet's cousin. The story ends with both Romeo and Juliet dead, which leads their warring families to peace. In this story, one of the recurring themes is about love; Shakespeare shares that being away from the ones you love can bring pain to all involved, and should be avoided.
When analysing Romeo and Juliet it becomes apparent that while the two main characters’ lives were said to be predetermined by fate, it is Romeo's deep love for Juliet that acts as the catalyst that sets his fate into motion. Romeo was bound to love juliet but it was Romeo’s deep love for juliet that gets Romeo in to trouble. Additionally, Romeo gets to caught up in the one and only love of his life and when all the sudden it was gone he decided to kill himself. Although Romeo stated, “with love's light wings did I o’erperch these walls”( 2.2.73-75). This would prove that know matter what happens romeo will always go after Juliet/love Juliet. Ultimately, it is Romeo who is to romantic therefor creating the fate for himself and Juliet.
1. In this Scene, the nurse is shown to have a really close bond with Juliet. She seems to have a better relation than her mother. The nurse lost her daughter “Susan”(1.3 Line 20) as she was the same “age”(1.1 Line 21) as Juliet, which makes the nurse closer to Juliet and treats her as a daughter.
The emotion of love is an incredibly complex feeling, as displayed in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
“Falling in love is like jumping off a building, your brain tells you it is not a good idea, but your heart tells you, you can fly.” This quote explains that even though Romeo and Juliet both knew that being together was going to be hard, their love for each other was strong enough to try. In the love story of Romeo and Juliet, two people fell in love, but just as quickly as their romance started, it ended with death. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was written by the famous William Shakespeare. It is a love story which tells that hatred between two families can lead to doom, destruction, and death. Juliet and Romeo fell in love at first sight, but the hatred between
“Love is stronger than death even though it cannot stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries, it cannot separate anybody from love” (Cousins). William Shakespeare wrote The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. This story tells about how Romeo and Juliet, from two feuding families, fall in love. Unfortunately, their love for each other led to the untimely end of both of their lives. While Romeo and Juliet physically committed the acts that ended their own lives, fate and the long-standing family feud should be blamed for their deaths.
Friends are medicine for a wounded heart, and vitamins for hopeful soul. When shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet, It was mixed with strong hate and love. It was tragedy. The two families hated each other, but Romeo and juliet loved each other over the families hate. In Romeo and Juliet, shakespeare argues that friendship is the so powerful form of love.
The relationships in Romeo and Juliet constantly change throughout the play at first they are good but as the play goes on and stress in the characters build their relationships break down. One such relationship is that between Romeo and His parents who we were first introduced too at the beginning of the play after the fight scene after discussing about Romeo with Benvolio Lord Montague says “I neither know it nor can learn of him.” This obviously means that Lord Montague and Romeo are not very close as he does not know what troubles Romeo is going through with Rosaline and that even when he asks Romeo about it he will not tell him which shows that Lord Montague must not be very trustworthy or open but instead of more an authoritarian figure

Teenagers have to decide on many things in life. Teens should decide on many thing, but what about on who they should date. There are many different opinions on if teens should let their parents tell them who they can date. Depending on the person, they may not be good, and a teen just might not see that when a parent may be able to tell. I believe that parents should be able to prevent teens from dating certain people.
