1. What are the managerial, organizational, technological issues and resources related to this case?

Code Galore is experiencing various issues at each level of its organizational structure. There are several issues present in the managerial and organizational structure of Code Galore such as:

a) The board of directors that primarily consists of professionals from the software industry were dispersed throughout the world and seldom met personally. Most of the business related conversations are carried out using web-technologies such as video conferencing or emails. This of course has a negative impact on the company as there is minimal interaction between the individuals at the top level of the company and therefore the planning and implementation is not efficient.

b) Secondly, since Code Galore was not in good terms financially, we can see a lot of resignations from the C-level executives. This was not a good sign as the people who were responsible for the idea itself were leaving the organization. This could lead to low employee morale within the organization.

c) Thirdly, the new CEO of the company (formerly the CFO), focused more on cost cutting rather than the growth and development of the business. This has a major in putting up controls against security threats, as the budget given was low.
