Prayer is a vital part of life, for though this avenue, we contact the Creator of the universe and receive divine help, guidance and protection. Prayer is talking to God. But it is also receiving answers from God. In order for prayer to be effective, we must learn the power of faith. Believing prayer experiences results, because when we believe God and pray with confidence, we place ourselves in position to get God 's attention and response.
The prayer of faith is one of the most powerful ways to pray. We can pray for salvation, deliverance, healing, peace, forgiveness and for our needs to be met.
Regardless of the need, God can give us his divine assistance if we will, but believe. People of varied religions throughout the world pray. It is in us to consult someone greater than ourselves, for help. It should be noted that the prayers that receive answers are the prayers worth praying. We should not just pray. We should expect answers to our prayers. If we are not expecting answers to prayers, then why pray?

I might not show it and express it at times but every time something goes good I thank god. When things aren’t going how I wanted them to I pray. I pray that God leads me through the best path. If things still don’t go how I expected then I always think to myself that it happened for a reason and then I accept it. In my family, my grandma is my biggest inspiration. She is the one who teaches me how to pray and why you should pray. One thing she explains to me often is that praying is not done only when you’re in need of something. You pray when you want to bless others, thank God and also to just have a conversation with him. Many times I have no clue what I am doing or like other times I just need someone to listen to me, so I talk to him. After I prayed or talked to him I always feel like everything will get better and to never lose hope. I am happy with my faith and who I go to when I am not in the best
You may wonder what type of prayer arouses GOD 'S attention and get results. Effective prayer is direct communication with GOD. It acknowledges individual faith in a power higher than oneself who can help, guide and bring comfort. Many see prayer as weak, spineless and the last resort of out of touch people in over their heads. I beg to differ. Prayer is the very first tactic of powerful, resourceful people living in complete dependence on GOD.
Prayer is an essential to any kind of religious faith. Over the years and years of believing in a higher power,

This picture shows a little girl praying to God. She is also closing her eyes, hoping God for answering her prayers. Hope is a feeling of trust or a feeling of a certain desire for things to happen. God would test you to determine if your hope is reliable and if you would keep the hope throughout your lifetime. Hope helps people to become stronger and it also shows respect to God because you know they are there with you and always be with you in your for the good and bad
I am a true believer in faith and prayers because my life is spent on faith. Each time I wake up or lay down, I pray and ask the Lord to watch over my kids and all my loved ones. Anytime something happens bad, the outcome is good. This is the work of God because he calls the shots of my life. He is in total control of life.

Christopher Raines, I appreciate your emphasis upon prayer. It is something I myself often emphasize while talking with others and think it is a critical aspect of the Christian’s life, both leader and follower. I often see posts on Facebook and hear people saying things like “I’ll pray for you” or “I’m praying”, and while I appreciate the sentiment it is often only that, a sentiment. Saying “I’ll pray for you” has, for many, become just a nice though, what they are really saying is “I’m thinking about you” but prayer is much more than sentiment.
(Hamlet I. v. 121-122) In the bible, it’s said that praying is quite religious. “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” (Matthew 21:22).
Praying is how I’m able to have conversations with God and really be able to make him apart of my regular life. What I’ve learned over time is that my prayers never fall upon deaf ears. He’s there in the times that I need it the most. I’ve found that my prayers have become more meaningful and less forced over time. One of the evidence that I’ve found was in Fifth Grade when the Sandy Hooks Elementary shooting happened. I wrote a prayer for the youngest victims of the attack. I also wrote about protecting the children that died during the attack and comforting the relatives of those children. This showed that I was fulfilling the expectation to integrate prayer into my daily life and ultimately showed my Catholic identity. Through that prayer, I was able to learn more about how I can connect to God and have conversations with him in different ways. This piece of evidence shows the fulfillment of Student Learning Expectation #1C, which is a life of Christian prayer. This prayer shows that I’ve had a logical understanding of my relationship with God. I believe that I’ve shown
“Prayer is essential in the Christian's life. Without it efforts to witness will be far less effective, and will be far more vulnerable to the enemy. When witnessing, the support of the Lord is needed. Fellowship with the Lord is required for evangelism to be successful. Prayer makes this all possible.” (Slick 2015)

It is an established fact that God answers prayers. This is why the psalmist said, "O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come" (Psalm 65: 2). And because God answers our prayers, we are never tired praying to Him. Actually it is good to pray to God would not store your prayers but return them to you in the answered form.
Prayer is an essential discipline of the Christian faith. History and cultural differences show us that many people engage in many different ways and techniques to pray and communicate with God. How do you find the right way for you?
