In contemporary China, the flourish economy is of great benefits to many industries such as agriculture, urban housing, taxation and medical care, GDP have a buoyant trend at 7.5%, which causes a spurious fact that too many job opportunities can be created by the enhancement of living standard. However, the statistics from World Bank shows that the GDP of China have a slow upward on economy growth in the past decades, which from 11.4% to 7.4%, the year between 2007 and 2008 dramatically in particular. The inflation (consumer prices) also depicts ongoing slumping trend during the period, hit bottom at -0.7% in 2009.All the truths give rise to a fact that the many job opportunities are exploited by cutting down the number of workers, close-down of small industries and so on. In this paper, I detail the real problem, unemployment, occurred in China and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of one strategy taken by government. The social problem comes from controversial social condition and consensus social issue, the origin and affect of social issues is itself (Charon, 2001). According to world development indicator, the unemployment rate, defined as percentage of unemployed workers of total labor forces, has steadily decreased from 4.2% to 4.05% between 2005 and 2015, but it is much higher than government says it is. So the type of unemployment can be found to analyze the reason why unemployment is serious problem in China. Mark Thoma briefly explain that structural

Unemployment Issues in the United States Unemployment is one top issue that our government faces on a daily basis. Many people are being unemployed as we speak. Even though the government is trying to take a lead on this major issue, the rate of unemployment is just too high. Why I feel strongly about this issue is because many of us continue to search for jobs daily and still no reply. There are many reasons behind being unemployed and those reasons are little issues that the governor himself can fix within a year or so. We are still jobless, the minimum wage is too low and most of the jobs that pay well always ask if one Spanish.
Unemployment is one of the largest problems within the welfare system. Since unemployment is one of the country’s biggest concerns there should be a system to support those affected by it. One of the problems is that many applying for unemployment are unskilled. This can be fixed by providing job training. Another one of the problems with unemployment is created by the requirements that must be met in order to receive and retain benefits. A solution to this is to change the constraints associated with unemployment benefits. The biggest issue is that those living off unemployment can not afford all their necessary expenses even after they have been re-employed. One fix for this is to create a tiered system of benefits. Therefore, solutions
Sociologists study human society. Their studies include human behavior in many social contexts such as social interaction, social institutions and organization, social change and development (Abraham). Because of the broad spectrum of social circumstances that are studied, unemployment is an issue in which sociologists thrive. Conflict in the areas of age, race, gender, and disability is common among the employed as well as the unemployed. From a sociological perspective, unemployment can be studied through both the Functionalist Theory and Conflict Theory. It also touches upon the results of unemployment in societies and institutions such as family, education, government, and health. Unemployment affects almost everyone to some extent
The problem of unemployment could be solved through the welfare system. Nationwide, we need to take a look at both unemployment, as well as underemployment. Underemployment plagues the U.S. and is extremely detrimental towards the overall health and well being of the economy as a whole, and for the economy of the individual.
We live in troubled times. The last few years have brought us a steady parade of fear
In this kind of unemployment, people usually suffer from country’s economical situations. Even people with good and healthy jobs undergo with crisis and loss their jobs just because of country’s economic policies don’t adapt changes and don’t have ability to adapt changes.
America, the country called home. Known as one of the most powerful and advanced countries in the world. Is full of many major problems. That could be destroying the economy and the people that live here. With people resorting to being on the streets selling and doing drugs causes a big problem. Not only drugs and the economy being a problem, but also people getting things that they don’t deserve or worked for. If America stays on the same path it is right now the future could be heading for the worse.
Rates for the City for Census Tract 85 in the Bankhead Community are different by a large. The area is densely African American; however, there is no unemployment rate for White Americans in the area. Table IV shows how the 0.0% unemployment rate is consistent from year to year for White Americans (US Census Bureau, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014). On the other hand, African Americans had an unemployment rate of 15.6% in 2009 that continued to increase to 24.5% in 2012, and 35.0% in 2013 (US Census Bureau, 2009, 2012 and 2013). In the United States, the unemployment rate measures the number of people actively searching for employment as a fraction of the labor force. While things seem to be looking up for the economy with lower gas prices and grocery bills are decreasing, unemployment still seems the plague the country. Only 63 percent of working-age Americans have a job or are actively looking for one -- the lowest share of the population participating in the labor force since 1978. (The population of working-age Americans here includes anyone over the age of 16, including those who have retired and students). Some of this is due to the fact that Baby Boomers retiring" HuffPost 's Mark Gongloff wrote. “Most of it has to do with the fact that the economy is still too weak to create enough jobs to draw people into the market. This is most clearly evident in the fact that younger people are leaving the labor force, too or never even entering it because they can 't find jobs” (Goyette, 2014).
When just a regular person writes his or her check, and he or she doesn’t have that money in the bank, the check most likely doesn’t go through. So, why can the government get away with writing Americans checks when there is also no money in their bank? If there is money to be spent, why would it be given to a person with no job? The Unemployment rate is at 5.8% according to the Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey in October 2014. The rate has been shifting over the last 10 years. It will go up and it will go down over the next 10 years as well. Unemployment is a debatable topic with tons people, but is it aiding or hampering our country? The United States government should rid themselves of unemployment, because it makes
Within the years since you have taken office our economy has had its share of ups and downs. In your first term you dealt with recovering our economy after the 2008 recession.
