The 2016 Presidential Campaign candidate, Bernie Sanders, believes in creating a better America. In proving to the American people, rich and poor, how great the country can be if all people vote for who is trusted best as future President of the United States. The political figures in government care about money and wealth, not the people. Bernard Sanders would be the best choice for President for the main reason that he is concerned about the issues in America that create inequality for the people. The issues addressed by this candidate will create social and economic equality.

A vote for Bernie Sanders is a vote for free education, reasonably paying jobs, and universal healthcare. [I need to add another sentence right here]. There are many reasons why Bernie Sanders is the best candidate for president based on his policies on college, jobs, and healthcare.

Bernie Sanders once said “Finally, let [us] understand that when we stand together, we will always win. When men and women stand together for justice, we win. When black, white and Hispanic people stand together for justice, we win.” Bernie Sanders started as a young activist fighting to desegregate and end the Vietnam war, As he got older he dwelled into politics and became a self identified socialist; he competed against corporate backing and a corrupt political system yet remained true to his beliefs of Universal Health Care System, affordable education, better social security and welfare, the right for a woman to choose what she wants for her body, cares for the environment, but most importantly, Bernie Sanders believes in America.

In the beginning, nobody took Bernie Sanders seriously; they all mocked and made fun of him about his appearance. Then, Bernie said if he got elected he would make college tuition-free. Bernie’s goal was to make sure that every kid, no matter how much money they have, will be able to go to college. Bernie has also addressed the issue of violence between police departments (particularly white departments) and the communities they served. He responded to that issue saying: “We need to change the tone of police-community relations.” He says we need to make police seem like part of the community, not someone from the outside coming in to monitor and report them. AS you may know, there is a big rivalry between Bernie and fellow Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Numerous people say that Bernie has a lot of big ideas, but no way to reinforce them, but man believe he will do good things if he is elected president. After running for president, he really made his dream to aid the powerless

The first would be that Bernie Sanders advocates for mass reform of the justice system. In his opinion, The US imprisons far too many people, a disproportionate percentage of African Americans. Rather than investing more into confining people of various degrees of crime, even minor offenses which usually are usually crimes of desperation, Bernie proposes we spend more on education, training, and jobs that will reduce crime. He also believes in more transparency, mainly in law enforcement, where police officers should be held accountable for their abusive practices. Bernie proposes that this can be done by implementing the use of body cameras to keep officers in line.

He is providing 18 billion dollars for colleges to be able to cut their tuition. Mr. Sanders is going to allow anyone with student loans over a certain amount, a lower pay rate, so that way it is easier for them to get it paid off (Desjardins). Sanders does and does not want guns to be banned. When Sanders takes the place of President Barack Obama, he will not allow the federal government to carry or even have guns.

Senator Sanders plans to give each citizens access to universal healthcare so no citizen will be denied health and medicine. Throughout his political career he voted yes and no on bills going through Senate and he voted each time on bills that expanded healthcare or made it more affordable. He plans on taxing the rich at higher rates, same taxes from resolving the income inequality, and set forth a system of taxing through the stock system that will create billions over the course of a year (). These new taxes would benefit the middle and lower class because they would finally be able to receive healthcare that many of the poor have had to previously live without. New taxes sound like a bad thing, but in Bernie’s plans it would only affect corporations and the top 10%. These new taxes wouldn’t affect the average taxpayer in anyway resulting in more money out of your paychecks, but would affect them by giving them and every citizen free healthcare despite any poor financial

Senator Bernie Sanders should be next President of the United States. He boasts a long and successful political track record. He was a Senator from 2007-2018 and a Representative from 1991-2006, making him the longest serving independent in U.S. congressional history. He has been involved in Civil Rights issues his entire career. He has fought determinedly for working families, focusing on the disappearing middle class and income inequality. The United States should elect Bernie Sanders as the next President of the United States because he takes action on climate change, he fights for working families, and he wants to restore integrity to the political system by taking “big money” out of politics.

When Bernie becomes president, he claims that taxes will change, healthcare will become better, and gun control laws will become more strict.

Bernie, for instance, has always shown a concern for individual and civil rights. He strongly favors affirmative action and same-sex marriage. He is pro-choice and is endorsed by the Feminist Majority.

Sanders plan is not flawless; however, I’d rather vote for someone who openly cares and tries to make a difference. The first reason why Bernie Sanders should be president is because he supports a true diplomacy first foreign policy. Having this policy means being reasonable enough with other countries to achieve a national objective. In the U.S., this deal is crucial considering our relationships with resource partners. Like current president, Barack Obama, he takes bold positions on the Iran nuclear deal to ease tensions in the Middle East.
