I see that my "stoner" tendencies/usage of cannabis has been recognized. Why are you surprised? Seeing as to what kind of issues we're dealing with here, it would only be natural to seek help from one of the ultimate sources of wisdom and knowledge. JK
I don't believe that by holding the conviction of an infinite looping universe will put as much strain and questions to the said "already existing conceptions" as we think it would. I already spoke about how equally absurd pantheism and "monotheism" is in the "eyes of science". Yes, we can say that monotheism, on one hand, satisfies the need for an (As Aquinas would say it); uncaused mover, whereas for pantheism, they do not propose the idea that there exists a god/God, well at least in the traditional sense (ie a divine entity) - which also from a completely scientific standpoint (the God hypothesis) is not a falsifiable hypothesis. Science claims that if God were to exist, there are certain pre-requisites that ought to be met to show that he exists, unfortunately, God as we both know him to be, does not fit the criteria of an "existing god", well at least according to a purely naturalistic-biased scientific view. So each side ultimately

We've grasped only a fraction of the working of the universe, I wouldn't be surprised if by further scientific inquiry and observation that we discover that from an absolutely "nothing" space (Nothing by the definition of the word) can form matter and antimatter. The current scientific research stated that; since matter and antimatter present in an empty void can cancel each other out - not converting, as opposed to the law for conservation of mass - and create an absolute nothing, what if indeed we can create the said reactants from nothing, making the process completely
Imagine having a son or daughter who has six or more seizures a day. If you could could decrease the number of seizures they had a day by half, wouldn’t you consider medical marijuana? It is well known that medical cannabis has been used to cure many medical conditions for a long period of time already. Among the diseases marijuana can help treat, nausea, glaucoma, anorexia, epilepsy and more. Medical marijuana also helps with the side effects of many treatments, such as cancer chemotherapy. There are many health benefits of marijuana; it may have some negative effects, but the pain and symptom relief of many diseases and disorders makes it well worth it.
In the Middle East, the top three monotheistic religions (worships one god) are Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Christianity is the religion that I was born into and believe in. It came to be in 0 AD and Islam came to be 622 AD (CE), Christianity and Islam have some similarities and differences. By the end of the essay, you will eventually understand the differences.
Specific Purpose Statement: To Invite my audience to explore both sides of medicinal marijuana and the possible cause of damage to the brain.
Forty-one-year-old Oregon medical marijuana patient Kristie Groce of Portland is no stranger to adversity. Kristie has suffered immeasurably with numerous medical illnesses and injuries over the years. She had even been written off as terminal and placed on hospice care at one point. Despite the mortal diagnosis, Kristie is now thriving in ways she had never dared to dream of due, in her mind, to the healing properties of cannabis. Cannabis has not only given Kristie her life back, but now she has learned she is creating a new life, something she was told would never happen.
Zoroastrianism on the other hand is a monotheistic religion, originating in Iran, and has evolved throughout the ages. With approximately 130,000 remaining followers. Zoroastrianism’s early stage, is presumed to have influenced Buddhism, and introduces beliefs of Gods and Devils that have been adopted by other religions such as Christianity, and Islam. The Zoroastrian gods represented elements, aspects of nature, and principles such as justice and obedience. These gods were called daevas meaning (“shining ones”), with higher ranking gods called Ahuras or (“Lords”) with the supreme god Ahura Mazda, being worshipped above all the other gods as the divine creator; through good thoughts, words, and deeds, like the Jainism ahimsa. Zoroastrians believed there was a cosmic battle between good and evil and to support good one must dedicate themselves as spiritual warriors for good.
Judaism and Christianity is a monotheistic religion. "Judaism is a diverse tradition associated with the Jewish people", and Jesus is a Jew. Many people insist Judaism is the foundation of Christianity because Christianity originated from Judaism (when God showed himself to Abraham and Moses), but not an expansion of Judaism. This two religions, both refer to Jesus Christ, even though his role in each religion differs. The Jews refer to God as Yahweh (“I am who I am”) while the Christians refer to him as God. They have the same origin, believe that Abraham was the father of faith and Moses received the Ten Commandments. Both religions relate in faith and the scripture they share, but as much as they associate, they also have differences.
In “From Monotheism to Pantheism: Liberation from Patriarchy in Alice Walker’s The Color Purple,” a literary essay by Stacie Lynn Hankinson, the author argues the effect shifting religious views have on character development. It was Celie’s experience with religion that caused her to allow herself to be abused most of her life.

CNN’s documentary “Weed,” led by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, chronicles his journey around the world interviewing leading scientists and physicians, growers, patients, and experts, tackling the tough questions regarding marijuana, it’s medicinal value, and witnessing first-hand how it is affecting the lives of individual families. In 2009, Gupta wrote an article in TIME Magazine called “Why I would Vote No on Pot,” but now he has made a complete reversal on his views and has apologized for not looking hard enough, far enough, or reviewing research papers from smaller lab in countries outside of the U.S, and for dismissing the voices of legitimate patients who had success using cannabis to treat one disorder or another His willingness to challenge current views, dispel certain myth, correct his own errors, and enlighten the masses, and advocate for medicinal use of cannabis, has helped to shift
Unbelievably, they also concluded that the many observational studies (reports by doctors in favor of CBD use) do not rule out other causes as to why patients got better and that self-reported findings of cannabis users could not be trusted. Yet these same people (likely all 1960s-era former hippies) did trust the casual observations that several serious and non-serious “adverse events” were associated with
Establishment of ethos: I was recently diagnosed with a type of an auto immune disease, which is when your immune system attacks your body because it thinks that the healthy cells in your body are unknown. With the disease I wake up in the mornings with my hands so swollen that I can not grasp my toothbrush. About a week ago I went into a dispensary and informed myself on what would help with the inflammation without having to smoke the product and they gave me different options that could help. I started to use a lotion and I found it helpful with the amount of swelling and pain in my joints. With the success of the product I continued with further research to identify the positive effects that marijuana provides. My sister also uses marijuana to help her pain and it has been successful.
It is not possible for an infinite God to exist in a person’s finite understanding. The Christian God discusses frequently the concept of trusting him with all a person has. Trust is the basis of the Christian relationship with God. A way for God to want his people to trust him is by them not knowing and understanding fully his infinite being. If his followers know everything about him, then there would not be any need in relying on trusting God. Anselm gives another reason people’s finite minds not being able to understand. He breaks it down into people understanding God in their imagination and in reality. The problem with this break down is both imagination and reality are both finite. While an imagination might be able imagine a greater object than what exists in reality, both are still finite. When something or someone is infinite, it is always going to be larger than imagination and reality combined. Like with the number infinity, people cannot grasp where it begins, ends, or even the amount. That is because there is no beginning, no end, or no amount and person can pinpoint on it. The same goes with the concept of an infinite God. There is no beginning, end, or value that a person can grasp in their finite
This discussion is not new. Cannabis. Pot. Grass. Mary Jane. 420. Ganga. Herb. Joint. Blunt. Skunk. Marijuana. Weed. With over two dozen different names, call it whatever you fancy. The battle for legalization throughout the United States continues to be a controversial topic. As more states choose to legalize weed, more medical research in the United States is beginning to unfold. Although the views of marijuana as a deviant drug are changings rapidly, our medical research on marijuana is still lagging due to the lasting legacies of anti-weed drug policies and misinformation about what Cannabis does to the body. In 2013, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a neurosurgeon and CNN’s chief medical correspondent, made a documentary entitled
In what ways is the Holy land an essential site for all three monotheistic Faiths? All three faiths say that Jerusalem was a holy city. For Islam, Jerusalem was where the prophet Muhammed rose to heaven. For Christianity, Jerusalem is the city where Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead. For Judaism, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Each religion has a place that call for practicing same basic ritual worships (although differently in the rituals) as praying, fasting, and etc. The Jews had the second Temple of Jerusalem, where daily prayers are recited and other Jewish rituals are performed. The Christians had the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where it was once a place where Jesus was crucified. The Muslim have the Kaaba, where they
Within today’s society, Cannabis is seen as a harmful substance of such negative controversy. Marijuana is a very prominent and controversial issue in society today. Despite many malicious allegations have been made regarding marijuana today, the truth of what marijuana’s real dangers are are beginning to come about again. Sadly, these facts have been held under considerable judgement because of what people stereotype a pot smoker as. This has been brought under heavy criticism due to the stereotypical view of what people view as the typical “pot smoker.” This image society has of a lazy and unambitious America has all been the result of almost one hundred years of false propaganda and stereotypes gossiped by certain private individuals trying to keep weed illegal for their own personal benefit.
