Malaysia has been built as according to the Vision of 2020 that is to bring Malaysia as the high income nation in 2020. Malaysia are very committed to achieve that title. This is proving by many programmes and plans that is being constructed by the Government. Among the programmesare the National Transformation Programmes (NTP) or also known as the Dasar Pembangunan Negara (DPN). NTP is set up to change how the Malaysia runs its economic system into a more efficient and profitable one.
So, what are the purposes of the Government to set such NTP programmes? How will it benefits Malaysia? In developing the NTP, government has focused on certain aspects to fix on. Those aspects are the quality of life, the cost of living, the safety and security of the rakyat as well as promoting the values critical for the achievement of our goals.
Thus, the main goal of the NTP is to guide and drive Malaysia to achieve the status of a developed nation with a high income by the year 2020.it is so important for Malaysia to have and achieve a great administration system as to gain the title of high standard nation by 2020.

Rural areas are also well develop by the government to ensure peoples obtain an equal right in enjoyment of the national resources. Rural areas would not be isolated by the government and they will be benefited in term of the socio-economy. Lastly the Fifth, almost 170,000 poor were successfully taken out of poverty as a result of an increase in income in the five years. There are some major concerns that need to be addressed to seriously engage in the 1Malaysia concept. 1Malaysia concept meets the needs of all sectors of a society and to ensure equal distribution of wealth between races, between the state and federal governments. Integrity in government and public sector is a problem. Introduction NKRA and KPI is a laudable step. Use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics and goals are more commonly used in private business, and the National Key Result Areas (NKRA) is natural is an important part of the efforts of 1Malaysia.
What should the priorities be for the improvement of rural development policy (with respect to both content and implementation)?

We have found through our studies and client gatherings, that getting workers to track time and efficiency is the greatest challenge directors confront when embracing a time following system. Time is a trade metric as imperative as any other, but getting your group to see time following as a beneficial movement Or maybe than a chore can be troublesome.
MCSS needed to implement a realistic timetable that will give it enough time to test and apply all of the operations functions before the Y2K ordeal. Now, the MCSS needs to execute the full implementation of the new system immediately before reaching the year 2000. This will prevent all systems malfunctions. In addition to that, Mr. Lassiter needs to get more people from UNITRAK to come over and work with MCSS personnel to get them adapted to the new system.
Many accuse the government of using a very low poverty line in an effort to reduce the percentage of people that they classify as poor, but this does not actually solve anything except create a false illusion that portrays Malaysia as prosperous and wealthy. This is therefore a very big issue in Malaysia, with so many going through poverty and those fit to help them unaware of their plight.
Based on the study of NPS, certain suggestions have been drawn feeling the urgent necessity and implementation after been consulted by experts. The suggestions are –
Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia has regressed (returned to a former or less developed state) Malaysia’s economy. Meaning Malaysia has lost more money, GDP and has not progressed and is still an LIC. There are also worrying signs of the government and Najib himslef not being above and stopping troubled ethnic and religious divisions.
The government can hardly keep pace with the time for implementation of a project. Every government project experiences cost overrun. Bureaucracy always suffers from inhibition psyche. Promptness is a word unknown to it. As a result, growth and development have always been impeded in the government sector.
Proper following and acknowledgement of the timeline is vital to the success of this project. If the project goes overtime, it can cause serious budget mess-ups and furthermore delays.
Mahathir introduced the concept of Asian values in the 1990’s where there was global democratization, political and economic stability before the currency crisis of July 1997, which shocked Asian countries (Naisbitt, 1997). Asian values were advocated by Mahathir to try to unite Malaysia as a nation. He used it as a platform to claim collectivism, defending the ‘East’ against the imperialistic designs of the Western world. Mahathir’s views, known as the ‘Mahathirism’ can be summarized as combining a universalist Islam, a developmental nationalism, and a more laissez-faire approach to the people as an attempt at mass appeal to Malaysians.
