The controversial topic of trans-gender individuals in the military is a constant disagreement; although, the people of the United States are working to solve this issue with the opposing sides’ legitimate views. President Donald Trump directed the military to ban trans-gender individuals from serving in the military, going against the Obama-era plan which allowed them to serve. Trump tweeted his statement on July 26th, and it was made official on August 25th. Since the final decision was made, it has caused a big debate amongst the two opposing sides.There are several reasons people think trans-genders should not be allowed in the military.
