Spatial inequality is an issue that impacts rural areas especially. Mount Druitt, located in the Western side of Sydney, is socially excluded. This means that some members of the Mount Druitt suburb have the inability to participate in society, meaning that they are either homeless, poverty due to associations with drug and alcohol abuse, crime and other sorts of social dysfunctions. Other reasons include chronic unemployment which is one of the most important causes in social exclusion. People who lack education or have had received a low-level education can often lead them to welfare dependance. Mount Druitt, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, was surveyed in a 2011 census that collected data of how many people had post school

In sustainability: The New Holy Grail, Miller argues that people who question the United States ability to become more sustainable devalue American innovation. The arguments made throughout his article however seem one sided and aggressive. Millers out view on things are from a religious outlook making his points seem unreliable.
In 1990, NASA launched the Voyager I. As it left the solar system and traveled on for another six billion kilometers away from Earth, it took the famous photograph, ‘Pale Blue Dot.’ In this iconic photography, Earth is portrayed as an insignificant, fragile speck in the vast and endless expanse of the cosmos. Nevertheless, on that tiny pixel lay all of the wonders we humans have ever known - wonders that are now threatened by human development. As pollution, global warming, climate change, habitat destruction and exploitation of resources threaten the “pale blue dot,” the demand for sustainable development that meets our present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs grows every greater.
The three pillars are environmental, social and economically sustainability. However in this report, environmental sustainability will be brought to light, the two other pillars will be trivial. In order for environmental sustainability to be defined, general sustainability must be defined. Sustainability is the ability to continue a defined behaviour indefinitely (Thwink.org, 2015). For the environment, there are three aspects which must be sustained for, renewable resources, non-renewable resources and pollution. Therefore, environmental sustainability is the degree of pollution emission, renewable resource production and non-renewable resource consumption that can be continued indefinitely for future use. I’m writing to Lisa Darger, Coordinator of Sustainability from the office of Sustainability. A coordinator is who organize events, activities and arrange people in order to make sure they work together effectively. Since Darger is Coordinator, she can make all the changes and add new facilities to the recycling and littering activities. I’m wanting to discuss her about providing more trashcans here and there and also proving more recycling activities on campus. I think she will be interested in my letter because it is responsibility if there is issues about litter or recycling is occurred, and I’m sure she will be happy to help me about my issues about littering on campus.
It provides the stakeholders’ of a particular organization with information regarding their business activities such as its “impacts on the economic” factors of society, “environment” and “social community” (Carlon 2016). Companies often choose to supply their stakeholders with a sustainability report as its main purpose is to “improve internal processes, engage stakeholders and persuade investors” (Wikipedia 2016) which will in turn build the company’s overall success. This means that it could result in more efficient operations, attract and obtain potential employees, expand the size of its current target market and appeal to prospective investors.
According to Aboriginal people, sustainability is perceived as an integral component when it comes to protecting the environment. The relationship between human rights and environmental issues and rights demonstrates the need to formulate a new human right to water rights. John Barry and Kerri Woods discuss the relationship between environmental right and human rights. They question “the assumed compatibility between human right and the environment.” Barry and Woods notice that people are often willing to choose human rights at the expense of the environment. It is problematic that people who are in favour of human rights would not agree that the environment should be protected. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) clearly recognizes the importance of protecting the environment for the fulfillment and enjoyment of human rights. It is important to add environmental rights to the human rights discourse because people have a duty to future generations.
Part One: Use the sustainability phase model and checklist described in the reading by Dunphy, Griffiths and Benn (Module One, Topic 1.5) to assess the current dominant commitment of 'your' organization to sustainability (compliance, efficiency, strategic proactivity or the sustaining corporation). Provide examples to explain why you have classified the organization in the way you have.

Australian organisations are required to be responsible for being sustainable socially, economically and environmentally, here we focus on the environmental factors.
