When everyone thinks of the Chicago Bulls, they think of greatness. How could you not? The entire decade of the 1990s was all about the Chicago Bulls. Their star player Michael Jordan was easily the most popular athlete in the world, the franchise won 6 NBA championships in eight years, and they were easily recognized as the greatest team ever, owning a then-record 72-win season. They were at the peak of their fame as easily the most recognized team in the world. However, Michael Jordan called it quits after their sixth championship which began a long gradual decline for 20 years. In that time, they have not won any championships or even appeared in the Finals. Now, we have the newest edition of the team, the 2017-2018 Chicago Bulls. After trading three players with all-star experience before the season began, They left their team that is now a bunch of inexperienced players. Despite claims that they are a young team that will get better, I believe that the Chicago Bulls are the worst team in the NBA for now because of a lack of all-star caliber players and their terrible in-game performances.

The Chicago bulls joined the NBA in 1966-67. When the bulls started they had lots of great players like Bob Love, Norm Van Lier, Jerry Sloan, and Tom Boerwinkle. When the bulls started their career they are the only NBA team ever to make the playoffs there 1st season in the NBA. In the mid 1980 bulls selected Michael Jordan and he became the greatest of all time. Jordan set lots of records like 7 scoring titles, slam dunk contest, and trick shots. A phenomenal athlete with the unique combination of fundamental soundness, grace, speed, power, artistry, and an unquenchable competitive desire, Jordan single-handedly redefined the NBA superstar. The Bulls this season went 48-34 and clinched a playoff spot for the thirty third time since joining the league in 1966. Their season came to end when they lost in game 5 at home to the Washington Wizards. They were a healthy team at the beginning of the season when Derrick Rose returned from being out due to knee surgery, but his return did not last long. The Bulls lost their key player for another season after Rose injured his right knee in November of 2013, a whole year after injuring his left knee in 2012. Phillip Jackson is known as one of the best NBA head coaches of all time due to he had to lead the Chicago Bulls to six titles and the Los Angeles Lakers to three titles. Before Phil became known as a great head coach, he was an ordinary athlete. Jackson recruited to North Dakota University basketball team. While attending the college, he helped his team win third-and-fourth-place finishes in the NCAA Division II championships. Coach Jackson understands the only collecting a set of outstanding players will not make a championship team. His approach was the problem or project having components in four different spheres which are Mental, logical, scientific, technical and Systems or how the parts all connect and interact,.Emotional, feelings, intuition, and.Ethical, spiritual and issues of being. Phil Jackson assumes the players have the technical and techniques. Therefore he emphasizes the spiritual in developing the team.
