The world around us is constantly progressing; meaning ethics and social responsibility will become increasingly fundamental towards long term business success. There are many different principles on which to reflect when it comes to moral reasoning from a Christian worldview as it relates to business. The three basic pairs of principles are integrity and sustainability, competence and compassion, along with unity and participation. Christians are should exhibit personal ethics that represent the image of Jesus. Personal ethics is defined as moral principles that govern a person's behavior. Living and maintaining a Christian identity in the workplace can be very challenging in today's society. Far too many Christians leave their faith and religious beliefs behind as they handle business matters. However, this is unacceptable in the eyes of God. Christianity is a lifestyle; not a piece of clothing that can be put on and taken off at any given time. Matthew 10:32 clearly states that, "Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven”. Morally Christians are held

Leadership decision making styles are based on a leaders identifying and a problem, then gathering and analyzing data and looking for a viable solution to solve a designated issue or concern. Leadership positions calls for leaders to become decision makers on a day to day basis and at times said decisions can be complicated or a leader may suffer from repercussions or blowback from their decisions. In business leaders are often placed in the position where their decisions are considered to be controversial to all concerned. This week’s homework assigned required students to identify a situation where they were forced to make a difficult decision. As part of the discussion students must also highlight how their particular decision was reached and to also identify their particular decision making style.
Kurt Lewin, who is also considered to be the father of social psychology, conducted a leadership study involving three styles of leadership: autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire.
The most significant major leadership behavior in leading others is task motivated. Fred Fiedler uses the least-preferred coworker (LPG) scale to determine what motivates the leader. The task that comes easier to me is relationship-motivated (high LPC). This is the motivation that is a distraction from doing the task at hand. This naturally, would be the choice that is preferred because it presents opposition to meeting the company objectives. The high (LPC) has many reasons that relationship-motivated people find most appealing.

When the term business comes into one 's mind that individual thinks about profit making. However, this is not always true. Though a business 's one motives may be to earn profit, but on the other hand their other motives may be to serve the society. Those business individuals who have enormous faith in religion try to integrate their faith and business together and express their religious beliefs through their business. Some of the examples of such business are Mary Kay, Forever 21, Chick fil A, Hobby Lobby, Interstate Batteries and so on.

Chapter sixteen discusses various leadership theories which can implemented by leaders to achieve success. The choice of leadership theory differs from leader to leader as they possess different vision and way of managing. A theory isn 't always perfect in itself, it is the endless effort of the leaders which makes the theory a perfect one. Two approaches of leadership that I prefer are Situational Leadership Theory and Servant Leadership Theory. Among many theories I prefer these two because I tend to practice those principles most of the time and I assume these are theories that I truly tend to continue in a long run.

Determined factors, however fictitious, in writing, as well as perceived by organizational Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), shareholders, Owners, and employees, female leaders were viewed through the stereotypical categories that included limitations. Moreover, gender discriminating society professes the positions for men and women would not be compensated equally. Correlating differences in gender leadership is not as fictional as it may appear. The discovery of a biochemical distinction between the genders may bring some credibility to the historical insights. While men do have higher levels of testosterone and women have higher levels of oxytocin, men and women behaviors are directly affected in speaking up and in connectedness (Moskowitz, 2015). Merit to these perceptions may be in question.
