Time is certainly a very complex topic in physics, and there are people who believe that time does not actually exist. One common argument they use is that Einstein proved that everything is relative, so time is irrelevant. "Time is just an illusion." Is this really true? Is time just a figment of our imagination? It is true that it is a measurable, and an observable phenomenon. The real question is what causes this existence, and what it means to say that it exists. Time is the idea that time flows in only one direction, as opposed to dimensions of space which have no preferred orientation.
Time is vividly recognized by consciousness. Time is seen accurately. People have scheduled their lives to surround a desirable time for years, we have adapted our sleeping patterns to help advance our population. We have even trained ourselves to feel hunger at desirable times. Without time, our schedules would be thrown off. Time is an important issue for most of us. We save it, spend it, waste it; we never have enough of it. The concept of ‘time famine’ has become a familiar slogan that we all can relate to. Gibson (2016), 34% of people feel rushed all the time, with 61% never having any excess time and 40% saying that time is a bigger problem for them than money. Time has a tendency of slipping through our fingers. So to correctly use your time, use it to the fullest extent that you can.
