La Rioja is a province located in the Northern region of Logrono its Capital City, in Spain. It is surrounded by seven rivers, forests, vineyards and it has some of the most fertile land in Spain. As seven rivers flow through La Rioja, it has become known as the 'Province with 7 valleys'( http://www.euroresidentes.com/euroresiuk/guides-spain/guide-to-rioja.htm). This is a major topographical feature, as there are few other places that have seven different rivers flowing through the one place. Vineyards in La Rioja are probably the biggest topographical features because they are the most well known. It was left under attack for seventeen days untill the French were finally defeated on June 11th.On this day each year the feast of St. Barnabas is held in Logrono City. This is a major Feast each year which marks the end of the siege. It is an event that many people go to learn about the history and enjoy some of the traditions in the City. During the time of the siege, the city was under the rule of Captain Ere Rod. Logrono has a population of about 152107 people. This was last recorded in 2015. This is a reasonably small number of people compared to the rest of Spain. With this amount of people living here, it would leave more room for the tourism industry.
As Logrono is extremely popular for its production of wine it increases the visitors who come to this Region. This ultimately would lead to the boost in the economy there.

Some civilians from a rural area does not know what it is like to be in a crowded town. There are a lot of reasons why some people in society are in favor of the less crowded spots. In my experience, there are disadvantages and advantages anywhere you live. When you ask random people why they live in dense populate place, they may say because I don’t like being in a traffic jam. The main reasons why they dislike the crowded places are because they are afraid to get out of their comfort zone, dislike the crowds, it costs too much money like food and gas prices, and there is not enough outdoor activities to do in cold or hot weather.
It is not a larger city and it is self-sufficient with a large city about twenty miles away.
