Toyota dominates the hybrid market, but its one plug-in model was around for just a few years before it was canceled in 2015. Less than two years later an all-new model has rolled out and it sports the Prius Prime name. The 2017 Prius Prime is the fourth model in the Prius family name and shares its platform with the standard Prius. The subcompact Prius c hatchback and the wagon-line Prius v are the other models.
