Troy University has grown and it needs to be able to sustain that growth. In order to do that it needs to resolve the issues it encounters along the way, one prominent complaint among the student body and professors is the need for improvements with the parking availability at the university. I believe the university will fail the students and faculty by not providing anything and focusing on other areas instead. The university is focused more on improving the revenue flow than the experience of students and faculty that provide its revenue.

The sheer volume of students the university has exceeds the number it can provide housing for, thus making housing a priority over parking. With a limited budget the issue could take longer to resolve fully, another issue could be the space required for a lot or garage. Troy University also has a bus system that helps off campus students with transportation but the times they arrive can vary greatly. The university is exceeding what it can be expected to support and with that all aspects of student life can be at risk. Even campus involvement suffering because so many are forced off campus for housing. If the school were to resolve both issues it could see a happier populace.
The university has options to fix the issue, but will likely neglect the issue as it does not directly contribute to the university financially instead they will prioritize new dorms and a new recreation facility. One option that the university could implement is a freshman driving ban, this would likely add strain on the bus system and demand a rework of it, but the buses are not used by a majority of students and a rework of it could see demand rise which would be beneficial and maybe even justify an expansion of it. The university could see backlash in response to such a policy, but campus involvement would likely improve. This solution would also see the space that the university needs to expand be available for other projects and not used by massive lots or garages,
