To start off, this book surprisingly made an extensive impact in my life by not only showing me that anyone’s life doesn't just "happen." Explaining how we play a crucial role in how we want our lives to turn out. Knowing whether we know it or not, it is carefully designed by us. Every moment, every situation, provides a new choice. And in doing so, it gives us a perfect opportunity to do things differently to produce more positive results. Out of all the several habits, habit one “Be Proactive” caught my attention the most. It’s clear from the first sentence of Design Your Day, that author Claire Diaz-Ortiz understands the plight of the modern day person: there never seems to be enough time to accomplish the goals you actually WANT to do. It’s also obvious that she has an intimate understanding of what it’s like to feel the weight of too many conflicting obligations, coupled with the daily curve balls that inevitably occur. I found her simple message of “learn to live your days well” is inspiring and I believe you will as well.
I agree full-heartedly with Thoreau's claim that "The price of anything is the amount of time you exchange for it." I think it holds a lot of truth. When doing anything you've got to consider is this worth my time? Will the outcome of what I'm doing be worth the struggle to achieve it? Definetaly something to think about when making big life choices.

The worst question someone could ask me is, “What do you want to eat?” What in the world do I want to eat? There are so many options to choose from like a fresh McDonald’s burger or sushi or even just a salad. But I do not know. I do not know what I want to eat. Everything happens for a reason. The thing that impacted my life the most was when my parents got divorced. Next was when my two siblings moved out of town to live with their dad. The last thing that had a pretty big impact on my life was when my dad got engaged. These are the three most things that had an impact on my life.
The topic of this paper is a book summary and analysis of The 10 Natural Laws of Time and Life Management: Proven Strategies for Increased Productivity and Inner Peace by Hyrum W. Smith. Time management is a critical issue and is the cause of much stress and pressure in people’s lives. To control your time is to control your life. If you can learn to implement the 10 "natural laws," which the author defines as "fundamental patterns of nature and life that human experience and testing have shown to be valid. (Smith, 1994, p. 12) Then you will gain control of your life and be more productive and be truly satisfied with your accomplishments.

Covey, really helped me to better understand what a whole life concept was and how to apply it to daily life. In Habit 1 Be Proactive I was introduced to the concentric circles model as seen Fig.1. Starting out with the circle of concern which includes worries fears such as national debt, nuclear war, health, personal relationships and problems at work. Outside of my circle of concern are the things that I do not have any involvement in. Inside my circle of concern there are things that I have no real control of, also there are things I can
