People who are overweight and obese have a significantly higher risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes as apposed to those who are at a healthy body weight. Type 2 diabetes is often managed by engaging in exercise and following a diabetic diet. Oral medications may also be used, and in more advanced or severe cases, insulin therapy may be prescribed. The condition is rapidly increasing in the developed world, and there is some evidence that this pattern will be followed in much of the rest of the world in coming years. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has characterized the increase as an epidemic.
Type II diabetes is a chronic medical condition that affects the way the body uses glucose. With diabetes, the body can resist the effect of insulin or fails to produce enough insulin to preserve a glucose level within normal limits. Type II diabetes is becoming much more common than before and the occurrence is growing. Approximately 23.5 million people in the United States are living with type II diabetes (Fesselle, 2010).

Physical activity can affect the level of glucose, so it can make it low. Moreover, it is an essential component to manage or prevent type 2. Exercises have many benefits that help the patients with type 2. For example, it assists the patients to lose weight, so the high level of glucose inside the blood will be lower. When the patients do exercise, their muscles use the glucose to do the work, so the glucose will be low
The purpose of the paper was looking at the quality of life of diabetic patients. Type two diabetics that have a support system compared to those that don’t have a support system have an improved quality of life after being diagnosed. The level of evidence of this study was a cross sectional study. Researching the article was done by going to the Clarkson College website, then going to the student life tab and choosing library. Clicking on the “C” on the article database and clicking on the CINAHL Complete link. Typed in diabetes mellitus in the first box, then where it has the first and changed selection to not, then in the second box typed out systematic review. Then scrolled down to where
Last but not least there are two types of diabetes. Type one, and type two, type one is the form of diabetes you are usually born with. Type two is the form due to obesity, and poor health habits. There is ways to reverse type two diabetes and that is by eating healthy, exercising, and being smart. Not smart like book smart, but smart about your body, think to yourself “is this a good idea” before doing something controversial. Visit your doctor about your diabetes, and ask him/her for a eating and working out schedule.
Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a highly dominant and long-lasting metabolic disorder (Mukherjee 439). WHO suspects that by the year of 2025 up to 200-300 million people worldwide will have developed type 2 diabetes (Hussain 318). Approximately half of the risk factor for individuals with type 2 diabetes is due to environmental contact and to genetics (Hussain 318). It is collectively known for grown-ups to have type 2 diabetes, but youngsters can also have this disease. Type 2 diabetes can be greatly affected by people’s poor workout habits and what they eat.

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a condition where the body is inefficiently utilizing insulin, causing more insulin to be produced. Insulin is important because it is used to transport glucose from the blood to other parts of the body, and a buildup of glucose in the blood can cause a number of complications. T2D typically develops from sedentary lifestyle and poor diet and the effects can normally be managed effectively through improvements in diet and exercise. So the behavior we are trying to modify is exercise and diet behaviors.
