Unhealthy eating habits have played a major part in the obesity epidemic in the United States. Most people think that along with exercising you have to eat only salads and healthy things like that. But what some fell to realize you can eat baked foods and other things, you just have to have small portions to go along with that. You can’t have 2-3 plates like you would normally eat, you can have up to 1 plate (as I would say). Just because you are not obese does not mean that you can just eat anything you want to. Later in life your health will be one of the major problems you are putting at risk. Eating right is meant for everyone because you can get sick and even increase your death rate. I think that starting early (when you’re young) with good dieting and exercising is the best way to live. This is because when you get older your body will be use to the way that exercising feels and the toll it takes of your body. Having unhealthy eating habits have contributed to the obesity that goes on in the United States. About one-third of U.S. adults are obese and 17% of children and adolescents aged 2-19 years are obese. Even for people at a healthy weight, a poor diet is associated with major health risks that can cause illness and even death. These include heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and certain types of cancer. By making smart food choices, you can help protect yourself from these health problems.
