Since 1998, The Villages Tennis Club had supported the Silver Creek High School’s Tennis Team with racks, balls and sometimes footwear. It was only natural that helping two of these student’s each year, begin their journey in higher education.

Sports play an integral part in todays society in not only keeping people healthy and in shape but also make for fun activity and competition. While everyone tends to focus on exercise and enjoyment, they forget the importance of having a quality facility in order to practice their specific sport or hobby. Sport facilities themselves have revolutionized the way sports are being played nowadays, especially on the professional level. Advancements are being made on a daily basis to make the experience great for both athletic participants and the on looking spectators. Tennis has always played a significant role in my life as well as my commitment to my community, academics and as a part of my future goals. Ever since the age of six, I have absolutely adored the game of tennis. I honestly cannot explain my genuine attraction to the sport, although I know that I would not be the tenacious and goal-oriented young lady I am today if it was not for my participation in the Prince George’s Tennis and Education Foundation. PGTEF is a community tennis association that provides the opportunity for children of all ages to succeed academically and athletically through tennis.

Economically, building a sports stadium can increase aggregate demand of the economy, providing new jobs, thus increasing employment. Based on the multiplier effect, this could lead to an economic growth (Danielson). In the future, this can lead to an economic development. Building a stadium also increase competition for local merchants to supply materials to build the stadium, therefore, creating new opportunities for new businesses. Therefore there will be an increase the total income of the county or city, thereby reducing the tax burden on local citizens. The stadium will lead to expand tourism opportunities because people will want to visit your city and watch games (tourism). Keep in mind the money being used for the stadium then different kinds of benefits will be developed. The money used for building will pass through the hands of the building contractors, his employees, for their consumption, their investments and back to the banks. This will provide employment but it will also raise the quality of the community, due to use the stadium.
