University Of South Florida Case Study

The public University I choose to research was the University of South Florida. USF was one of the two universities I choose to pursue my undergraduate degree my first choice was UF (University of Florida). USF has the same mascot as my high school, which are the Bulls. Founded in 1956, USF is the fourth-largest public university in the state of Florida. The University of South Florida is a major metropolitan research university located in the heart of Tampa Bay. USF has three campuses, which serves nearly 48,000 students at its institutions combine and has about 1,700 instructional facilities.

Once, i finish my basic classes at the Alamo Colleges I wish to futher my education by attending the University of Texas

South Texas College has locations conveniently located throughout Hidalgo and Starr counties. The Pecan Campus in McAllen, Mid-Valley Campus in Weslaco and Starr County Campus in Rio Grande City offer traditional college programs. The Nursing Allied Health Campus and the Technology Campus in McAllen provide specialized training for students entering the workforce. Florida state college is a higher-education institution that is driven by clearly stipulated values. It is not allied with any other private or public university or college in Florida or elsewhere. However, for an appropriate design as an employer organization, there are a number of aspects that have to be given priority over others. I would rank them in this order; mission success, strategy or structure, accountability or adaptability, and lastly, ladders or rings.

The technical l program I have chosen for my paper is UAF Community and Technical College. UAF College is one that offers a multitude of certificate programs and two year degree plans. The College provides educational opportunities for those who prefer a more traditional program as well as those who prefer the nontraditional programs. Military personnel, night shift workers, and those with families represent a good portion of the population audience within the college. Nova Southeastern University or commonly referred to as Nova or “NSU”, is a private and nonprofit higher education institution and also a high research activity university located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. NSU is the ninth largest not-for-profit private university in the country and the second in the state of Florida. NSU currently enrolls almost 30,000 students with about 80% of the students focused on graduate programs and the remaining 20% on undergraduate studies. The institution has graduated over 165,000 alumni over the last 50 years since its inception. The NSU mascot is Razor the Shark; which is a Mako Shark and can frequently be seen around campus (Overview, 2015).

If I am elected, I want to represent the students of Georgia State University. I want to express their true wishes and desires. Some issues that have arisen are smoking around campus and not enough scholarships not being available for international students. Some solutions that I have come up with for these problems are to create smoke designated areas around campus for students to smoke, so many other people’s allergies are not affected and second-hand smoke would be prevented. My solution for not enough scholarships for international students would be to get some more funds from outside businesses and Georgia State University to help international students come here to Georgia State, received a great college education, and enjoy all of Georgia

​Georgia Southern University, also referred to as GSU, is a 4 year college located in Statesboro, Georgia. The college was originally created in 1908, but didn’t begin carrying the name “Georgia Southern” until 1959 (University). Currently, Georgia Southern has over 20,000 students with over 100 majors to choose from (University). Georgia Southern has Division One Athletics. This could be intriguing to some who would enjoy watching the school play against other top universities in the nation. GSU is very prominent in men’s soccer as well as women’s softball. Every year, just like many other colleges, GSU gives out scholarships to students who achieve well in the classroom as well in their respected sport.

Satisfaction: the best solution is the president should come out in person and address the situation in person and assure students that come from any background that Texas State is safe place for everyone. Create an inclusive and equitable campus climate, develop a diverse community, and support inclusive scholarship and teaching. Yearly training and incentives for faculty and staff.

North Carolina State University (NC State), located in Raleigh, has a graduation rate of 73.4% and an estimated cost of about $25,700 per year ($6,600 in room and board, $4,200 in meals, $1,000 in books and supplies, $1,600 in personal expenses, $1,000 in transportation, $2,200 in health care, and $9,100 in tuition). NC State has many resources for their students with two libraries, the E-Pac, and even a Tutorial Center. The university has over 400 clubs to join, and I would more than likely join NASA, and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). At NC State I would major in Zoology and minor in Biotechnology. NC State has twenty residency halls on campus, and if I had to choose to stay in one it would be Carrol Hall. They

The University of Mississippi (UM) is a public research university. It is the state of Mississippi's flagship and largest university, with a total enrollment of 24,250 in fall 2016. Among those enrolled, 11,756 (55.3%) were females and 9,504 (44.7%) were males. Of all students, about 56% are from Mississippi. 8,753 (76.0%) were white, 1,759 (12.9%) black, and 678 (3.2%) were Hispanics/Latinos. Currently, UM School of Pharmacy is the only pharmacy school in the state of Mississippi, with a total enrollment of 1,004 students in fall 2016. Summary: Southwestern University is a state college in Stephenville, Texas. The college is known for its Football and have been in the top 20 in the rankings since the appointment of legendary Bo Pitterno in 2001 as the Head coach for the team. The coach requested to upgrade the stadium or construct a new stadium to accommodate the large fan base. This request was heard by the SWU’s president, Dr Joel Wisner, who decided that they would upgrade the stadium based on a forecast of when the current stadium would max out.
