Some people dispute that the idea of all-volunteer army is a wise to freedom and the democracy in the country. No one obliged to serve in the army, but everyone has their rights and his/her vision to serve in the army or abstain. However, military service is a duty to youth in the country, liability of the nation, and unavailing to resign this responsibility. Otherwise, people with volunteer army may claimed that volunteer army enhance the army force and improved it due to the volunteers entered the army with full volition, so they work hardly and ascends the army. This point more reasoning, but in 2004 in the US army reported that 92 percent of the volunteers in the army are high school graduates who the idea of nationalism and awareness of
A freedom I enjoy because of veterans sacrifice is freedom of speech. With freedom of speech you can basically say whatever you want when you want it. If you don't like a person running for a place in office or something, you are allowed to say you don't like them, without getting in trouble. If you want to protest something you are also able to do so. You can go out into the streets or on social media and protest whatever you want with freedom of speech. Your allowed to voice your opinion. People in the army go out of the country and risk their lives everyday for us to have freedom of speech.
Attending Troop N Camp Cadet was truly an experience that I cannot say enough great things about. The camp truly pushed me to my mental and physical limits, and because of that, graduation day was a day I will never forget. As I think back on this experience, many people stand out to me. One of the main groups of people was of course the advisors, which were helped by the junior counselors. I believe that I, being given the opportunity to be a junior counselor, would be provided with a positive experience for many reasons.
The position of president is the highest office in the nation. Many people believe in order to be president the person filling the office should have military experience. Since the 1992 the candidate that has won has had no military experience but prior to this year the majority of presidents had military experience. The public does not require their presidential candidates to have military experience and in the last few decades have elected presidents with no military experience despite the fact the country has been embroiled in the War on Terror. Presidents should be required to serve time in the military before running for this office.
An American Professional Soldier is proficient, a volunteer specialized in the Profession of Arms, attached with companions in a shared personality and ethos of sacrifice and service to the country and the Constitution, who abide by the utmost moral values and is an overseer of the future of the Army profession. Throughout my military career, it became apparent that the staff officers within my command had attained a great sense of professionalism, leadership abilities and technical skills. My military duty positions in my career, such as being the Battalion S3 driver, TOC radiotelephone operator, and Brigade S6 NCOIC, allowed me to directly converse with many officers. I was able to monitor firsthand the daily task and responsibilities of some staff officers. After years of maintaining a high level of performance at work, I felt that taking a more challenging role within the Army would be beneficial to my career. I began to believe that I could provide the Army with another military officer of the same caliber of those in my previous commands. My aspiration to become an Army Officer fostered greatly through conversations with my former Brigade S6 OIC, MAJ Joe Gardner. He was previously a senior NCO and made the transition to an officer. He understood

“Woodstock Academy Girls Varsity Team”: A program that is more then banners, championships and awards, a program that is built on dedication, excellence and teamwork. Five years ago I found myself at the Bentley Athletic complex, intimidated by the talent that this program exuded. I remember vividly the first day of tryouts. I was 14 years old, I had come from a small private school so I did not know anyone in the school. My parents dropped me off waved good bye and said good luck! I walked slowly with a ball at my feet, water in my bag, and my head down over the table to hand in my paper work. Tryouts started a few minutes later and Amy Cross the head coach of the program at the time gathered all the girls around and introduced the senior class and talked about the expectations of this program. As a team we were required to attend every practice and game ready to work hard for 2 hours, respect towards our
Scouting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I joined in the First grade as a tiger cub and I was super excited. I remember getting my uniform and wanting to wear it everywhere. I was so excited to be a part of it. I have grown up through scouting and can’t picture my life without it. It has shaped me into the man I am today. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout. I want to continue helping the troop even after I finish. I will be involved in scouting for the rest of my life.
One day while driving to boy scouts with my grandson he asked me “Papa, have you ever been hurt or shot at while you were in the military?”
When my friends would ask me how does it feel to be a military child i would usually always respond with it's ok,because it really is nothing less nothing more, not good, not bad.Being a military child comes with advantages but it also comes with its fair share of disadvantages.Sometimes i couldn't see my life without being in the military, other times i wished i was just a regular civilian
Throughout my childhood people always asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” And my immediate response was invariably “a superhero.” As a child, wearing a mask and suit, saving people, and battling against crime was my image of a hero. As I have grown up and become a member of Junior ROTC, I now know that a uniform is just one part of becoming a superhero. While I would be proud to wear the uniform of a member of the United States Army, I realize that I need to develop my mind and body to earn the right to help make the world a better place.
Peace Corps Volunteers are widely dispersed in the countries where they serve. However, Peace Corps medical supplies are often located at the post headquarters which can be over a days travel for many Volunteers. When Volunteers use the medical supplies that have been provided by Peace Corps they need a way to request replenishment of their supplies so the medical staff can send them out with the next quarterly replenishment schedule.
According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook members of the U.S military, service maintains the U.S. national defense. The military is made up of enlisted and officer careers. The only volunteering I did while in the U.S. Army, was volunteering to join. Once I was in, I quickly realized that you are placed accordingly your strengths and how you can fill the needs of the Army best. In March of 2004 I was placed in the Headquaters Headquaters Company of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Unit that soon built up and transformed into the 4th Brigade 10th Mountain Air Assault Division out of Fort Polk, Louisiana. What communication skills I did have at a young age, my outgoing personality, and the ability to talk to anyone under any circumstances landed me in the briefing room. The briefings that I conducted were mission briefings and debriefings. The audience consisted of 10 to 15 personnel to include; the Command Sargent
