Do you like eating at restaurants and fast food places? Almost everyone does, but do we really know how healthy and unhealthy the food we are eating is? Labeling food menu choices should become a law. As stated in passage "Label the Meals", one thing both arguments can agree on is that healthy people are happier and more productive. If labeling meals in food places taken upon, it is a way of helping people take charge of their well-being. People should have the obligation of viewing the nutrition information whether the food is nutritious or not.

Zinczencko complains that unlike many other hazardous items, fast food does not come with warnings on how terrible the food is for one’s health and its future effects. He emphasizes that even if the customers were able to obtain the nutritional facts, they are not palpable, but rather obscure. In the past Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. has put up many ads on huge billboards. There is one ad in particular that stakes a claim about it’s ranking of their ingredients among competitors. The ad reads “WE WANTED TO WRITE ABOUT OUR LOCALLY SOURCED NATURAL INGREDIENTS, BUT SHORT BILLBOARD HEADLINES ARE BETTER” (Liebelson). Although Chipotle is claiming that the quality of their ingredients are better, it leaves the consumer wondering what exactly is so good about the products that go into their foods. It is wrong that more information about Chipotle and their ingredients aren’t found on the ad as it may cause a lot of misunderstanding and deception amongst the consumers. These people may think that they’re eating the best and healthiest ingredients but in actuality they are taking in food that has caused many health issues in the past.

Pattron uses an inductive format by introducing examples, slowly building to his statement. Pattron begins his opening statement with a question as a hook, “What are humans really supposed to eat?” (Patton 1). The hook clues the audience into the subject of the article. He then uses evidence stating the observations of nature, “The grizzly bear – an omnivore- is fast and strong- jawed, with razor sharp teeth” (Pattron 1). By presenting his evidence before his statement, it gives anticipation to his argument. He then introduces his claim, “Based on the logic of the animal kingdom, we are designed to eat plants” (Patton 1). The author brings up a concession for those with medical histories “There are always expectations, of course. People with extreme allergies, intolerances, and genetic deficiencies…by no means, be used as examples
This poster does not sit right with me. Its overreaching fallacy and disturbing use of shock factor makes me want to eat a cheeseburger more than it makes me want to become a vegetarian. The intended audience may have been reached, but it was certainly not in the way that the anonymous author of the poster intended. The rhetoric was poorly utilized, and because of this, the poster is inefficient and ineffective.
This activity is to teach participants how to understand what their food label means. This activity will be a part of the “Are you smarter than a Food Label”. Participants who take part in learning about how they can better understand their food label and will be given a goodie bag which consist of a granola bar, bottle water, Crystal Light and pencil, while supplies last. Copies of “The Nutrition Fact Label” will be available on the table. This activity will be used to draw participants into taking part of the “Are you Smarter than a Food Label”
If I were a halloween candy I would be Candy Corn. I am Candy Corn because you either love me or hate me. Candy Corn is not one of the most liked candies and I am not one of the most liked people. Most hate me while others love me. Some people find me annoying, weird, gross, etc. which is the same thing for Candy Corn. Some people think Candy Corn is overused and because gross and weird after a while, which is also the case for me. Most people don’t even give Candy Corn a chance to see if it’s good or not. People judge me like they judge the candy.

Novelist, George Orwell, in his novel, Animal Farm, a pig name Old Major establishes a speech about animals´ lives in the farm and passes down his wisdom to the other animals. Old Major´s purpose is describe how animals´ lives are miserable. He describes how the animals do nothing but work, and after they cannot do that, they get killed. He adopts a angry emotional tone in order to get the reader to understand and feel the emotions of the animals.
Islam is portrayed and is commonly accepted as the most violent and largest direct threat to the West. This is a generalization made by most of the West, but it is not particularly the West or the Islamic people’s fault. There is constant turmoil in Islamic countries in the Middle East and these conflicts are what make the news in the West. The only representation in the media that the Islamic nation gets is that of war. Though most Islamic people are not violent, the select few that do participate in terrorist groups give the rest of the Islam nation a bad image.
