Most individuals are familiar with Disneyland, otherwise known as the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney, the founder, envisioned a theme park where families can have fun and create memories together. With his vision, he created a magical world with five different lands both adults and children can enjoy.

Where does the real magic happen, people might ask? To begin with some people might say the magic starts with the Disney characters, the rides or others might even say it is the parades that Disney world have at the end of the day from the fireworks, to the yummy cotton candy and the treats that they bring out for people to enjoy along with the characters coming out all at once to entertain everyone. Walt Disney was an amazing cartoonist, motion-picture, and producer. He is well known for his cartons and Disney Parks. In Disney’s early life it was he and his brother Roy, who co-founded Walt Disney productions. It was and still is one of the best-known motion-picture productions ever. Many people were found by Disney’s creations. His best cartoon character is Mickey Mouse and also one of his first cartoons.

Nearly all people had the occasion of going to Disney World whether they went annually as a young child or perhaps rarely as a young adult. In my case, I have never been to Disney World since the location is incredibly distant and my family and I have a sensible judgement of saving money. Nevertheless, if I was offered a rare and golden opportunity such as this, then I would be eager to have my first impression of this admired family park. In fact, there are only some requests I have listed for this certainly once-in-a-lifetime probability.

And now, nearly four decades after his death, the maker of said creations, Walt Disney, is not nearly as recognized as he should be. Hypnotizing a young, entertainment thirsty audience, harnessed into a “magical” realm of theatrical animation and engaging entertainment, cartoon characters provide children across the world with the gift of an alluring digital vacation. While Cinderella offers a dramatic production contingent on suspenseful romance and folktale, Mickey Mouse offers an exciting journey encouraging the acquisition of problem-solving skills in children. It comes as no surprise that Walt Disney claimed over $95 billion in worldwide assets for the year 2017- indicative of a production children enjoy watching, while parents condone the advertized benefits of learning; it’s a deal that is a win for all. In fact, such immensely attractive financial gains have even been recognized by other product lines which see the same prosperous potential in these adorable, humbling characters- even cereal.

The Walt Disney Company has taken by storm around the world and Disney has become the “one of the most recognized brands” (Richards 1), hence we can see the Disney brand and heard it around our lives. The company is named from the founder’s name, Walt Disney. Walt Elias Disney was well known as a filmmaker, cartoonist, voice actor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. He was an eminent successful American businessman. He earned “22 Academy Awards during his lifetime” (“bio” 1). And also he was “ the founder of theme parks Disneyland and Walt Disney World [Resorts]” (“bio” 1). Therefore, Bob Hills says, he was not only “an innovator, [but also was] a visionary” (1).

Walt Disney was famous for his production of cartoons and movies. Disney is known all around the world. He established a legacy that existed through his lifetime and continues to present day. On December 5th, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois, Walter Elias “Walt” Disney was born. Most of his childhood was lived in Marceline, Missouri on a farm, where his love for animals began to form. When the farm failed, the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri, which is when Walt developed a passion for trains (“Walt Disney.”). “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” (Walt Disney).

He wanted a place where adults could have just as much fun as their kids would in a clean, safe, and exciting atmosphere as a family. He was massively confident in his vision though everyone said he couldn’t do it, which of course made him want to do it more. Everyone thought this would be the financial and successful downfall of Disney, but they were so wrong. Disney had done everything he could to get the money for his fantasy land. He sold vacation land and even borrowed some money from his life insurance. Then, television network ABC agreed to loan Disney $500.000 and guarantee $4,5 million in loans in return for a one-third ownership in Disneyland and a promise of a weekly Disney television show for the network. (The construction of Disney World, 1) It was finally opened in 1955 and thousands of people poured into the happiest place on earth. Disney had accomplished the impossible, but that’s just what he does best. Though there were problems with the new Disney Land, he had it all fixed immediately and it didn’t stop people from coming. Walt Disney is a legend when it comes to the entertainment industry. Walt Disney is known internationally for his work in animation, as well as his theme parks that can be found all across the globe. Walt Disney’s long legacy started from his birth in 1901 , and still lasts even until this day. The interesting history of Walt Disney is more than just cartoons and theme parks, as both concepts have deeper meaning that people have little to no knowledge of.

People always say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, they clearly haven’t been to Universal Studios. I was jumping up and down on Makayla when I found out we were going. I was already planning out what we were going to do when we first get there. I was looking forward to go on the mummy ride, go shopping on city walk, and go to Sparky’s doughnuts. Sparkys is by far the best cinnamon sugar doughnuts I have ever haved. Everyday my family and I wanted to have them before we left the park.

Disneyland is known as the most magical place on earth. Disneyland was thought of and created by Walt Disney. Mr. Disney was an American film producer who was best known for his character Mickey Mouse. Today, I’m going to be telling you about Disneyland: whose idea it was, how Disneyland started, and how popular it was in the beginning until today.

As co-founder of this company, Walt Disney received numerous awards and recognitions for his work. He is mostly remembered as the creator of the lovable Mickey Mouse figure, but also as the creator of the Disneyland, considered the most popular theme park in the world (Leadership with You).

I’ll admit that I’m not really the best at this one, but it really does help to save you extra walking and waits in line. Map out what you want to do for the day and plan and plot strategically so you can get any Fast Passes and you can be sure to check the must-see items off of your list early. Disneyland is super fun, but can be a bit overwhelming if you go in without a plan.
