We all fall down

When Sarah’s aunt told me this story I thought she was being silly. A long time ago Jane had a new baby, a new house, and no husband. She was lucky when her sister Eloise offered to come stay with her and help out, until her husband returned from working in Alberta. The sisters had almost finished unpacking, but Eloise found one small box, labeled “for the baby,” that sat alone in the dark hallway.
“Jane, what’s in here?” Eloise asked.
“I can’t remember,” Jane said, looking at the label. “Kate’s got so much stuff. Open it, and have a look.”
Eloise got a knife and carefully sliced through the red packing tape, and lifted the box’s lid. Inside lay a number

“Jane did you put on one of the tapes?”
No one answered her.
Eloise figured Jane had already gone back to bed. She crept into the room, and looked around for the tape player. The music had already stopped, but Eloise looked around the room anyway.
Kate looked like a cherub asleep in her cot. Black curls fanned her pillow, and Kate pursed her lips together in a little frown.
“I know,” said Eloise, stroking Kate’s cheek with her finger. “It’s cold, but we’ll get that sorted.” Eloise pulled a blanket off a chair, and lovingly covered her niece with it. She then went back to her own room, and promptly fell asleep.
The next morning Eloise sat with her sister, while Jane fed the baby pureed carrots. Kate resembled a jack-o-lantern, her face was caked in orange and she was smiling naughtily.
“Jane, did you put on one of the tapes last night?” Eloise asked.
“No, why?”
“I thought I heard music last night.”
“You must have been dreaming,” smiled Jane. “I wish I slept that well.”
“I must have been, I thought I heard a little girl singing.”
“Well, I generally prefer more adult dreams, but I guess any good dream will do. I only get pockets of sleep these days.”
“It didn’t feel like a good dream,” Eloise said.
“Was the little girl trying to kill you?” Jane teased, wiping the baby’s mouth with a cloth.
“No, but it sounded odd. Too pretty.”
“Well at least the kid wasn’t crying,” Jane said.
“Yeah,” Eloise said, biting her bottom lip.
On March 15, 1832, Eliza was dropped off on the Sommers’ doorstep, wrapped in a special blanket. This blanket altered Eliza’s life forever. Rose realized that this was the John’s baby, because of the blanket she was swaddled in. After grasping this fact, Rose decides to keep it a secret forever to make sure that Eliza would be raised in her
“Okay,” Grandma said quietly. “Sit next to me, and I’ll read you a bedtime story.” Amira crawled up and sat down beside Grandma. There was plenty of room in the cozy old chair. Grandma read a story about a girl and her playful pet cat. Sara sat on the rug and listened. “It’s time for
“What else have you got in there?” Hector asked, genuine curiosity lacing his voice as he placed the glasses back down on the desk.
Tonight he wouldn’t get much sleep. He hugged his arms to his chest and let his teeth chatter. He hadn’t been this cold since he had nearly drowned trying to escape more than a year ago. “It’s warmer in the cabin if you want.” Called Peter’s hesitant voice.”
Katie rolled her eyes. "Always blame this on me, right? I was having a bad dream, that's what."
"Ava... Ava." I hear my name being called and I groan at the intrusion of my sleep. I turn over to my side and bring the blankets up, covering my face completely from the morning sun.
“Maybe it was a vampire,” the girl says, sniggering and shooting a look at Meta.
There was a bit of commotion for a while. Cook brought in a pitcher of ale and mugs, as well as a heaping bowl of liver smothered in onions. The midwives woke Fleur and insisted she drink and eat at least a few mouthfuls. Fleur grimaced at the odiferous food, but ate and drank.
"Ah, a... not exactly, was it special? A... sorry, not remember," I pretended to be thinking over it for a minute but lastly gave up.
Jane’s early life can be defined as the classic Cinderella case beginning with Jane’s orphaned
She went to the door, carefully opening it keeping her horn ready. On the other side of the door was the last thing she expected to see. She saw a mailmare.
I led her to the shelter that I had created before it got dark. ‘Now we can sleep,’ I said with excitement. ‘But I don’t want to sleep, I want to stay up ALL NIGHT LONG,’ Ella complained. ‘I know you do, and so do I… But we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow, flying and all, and you should probably get some rest, I know I will
"Yeah, we're going into the basement so we won't wake you guys up." Audrey said.
Elizabeth had just got home and the girls ran outside. They opened up the back door and looked at the baby they were so happy!! Elizabeth went into the room because the girls wanted her to see the room and it was beautiful!! There was her crib on the left side by the wall with butterflies, then on the right side all her clothes was in the dresser folded up. Her room was a neon pink. The kids have also did Elizabeth’s room. They walked into Elizabeth’s room and on the ceiling it was neon green with snowmen that glowed in the dark. On the right side her dresser was there with all her clothes folded up. All her shoes, jackets were in the closet hanging up. Also her bed was in the middle of the room with her bed made. She had new blankets because of the kids nana/grandma who went into the stores and bought all of this stuff for Elizabeth and Destiny.
"Keep surprising me." Richard responded with a drowsy grin, feeling the pace of Lexi's pulse slow under her skin, and watched her eyelids close. Only after she was on her way to dreamland, did Richard close his own eyes, the image of the faint smile on Lexi's face that his last comment had elicited imprinted in his mind as he fell into a deep, restful sleep, Alexandra safe in his embrace.
