Friendship is a bond between two people. Friendship is being by your friend’s side when you are needed and when you are not. To be a friend, you have to be trustworthy so your friend can tell you anything. You have to be honest and have to be able to tell your friend the truth no matter the consequences. You have to be kind and understanding so you can put yourself in your friend’s shoes to understand their situation.

In a perfect world, everyone should be a real friend. But, for these a list of traits should be reached and, unfortunatelly, most of the people don’t own the necessary characteristics.

The author Huxley uses his book "Brave New World," as a representation of how today's society is. He uses a fictional world to foretell what really is going on in our world. He mentions different examples within the book to compare both worlds. Huxley writes the book to state the truths of society's views and how it's slowly becoming corrupted.

According to Merriam-Webster online dictionary 2017, the term “ethics” is defined as the moral duty and obligation; the discipline of dealing with the good and bad as well as a set of moral principles such as righteousness. Everyone has a code of ethics that they go by. It sets a standard as far as who they are as a person. Just like employers have a code of ethics that they go by within their line of employment to the employees.

Ethics, as defined in the dictionary, are moral principles that help govern a persons behaviour or the conducting of an activity. Ethics must be taken into consideration when forming a decision towards major and minor issues in our society.

Webster’s dictionary defines ethics as the philosophical study of the moral value of human conduct and of the rules and principles that ought to govern it; moral philosophy, the moral fitness of a decision, course of action, etc. Basically, I believe ethics is how one makes a decision according to the social norm that surrounds him. The social norm includes not only the culture but the laws and standard procedures of the environment. These laws and norms must be fully understood before one can understand the ethical significance of one’s decision.
