I am very interested in pursuing a college degree and earning the Prairie Meadows scholarship would help me greatly on the path to my future. Receiving this scholarship would make it more feasible to attend the school I would like to attend. Drake university is a private college so it is more expensive than other state schools. I want to go to drake because I really enjoy the trumpet professor and facilities Drake has. This would help provide me with the things I need to be successful in a music major.

I stumbled upon interesting things in Wellesley’s community such as the beautiful Lake Day- a campus activity I would love to participate in- or the hci lab- proof of the innovation that I can become part of once joining Wellesley’s community. However, what really caught my eye was #29 and #16- Adam Van Arsdale’s forensic anthropology class and traditions, respectively. I was particularly drawn to these two things because they focus on traits that are fundamental in my life and an absolute must-have in my future college community.

Eureka College’s lines of communication have increased in a positive way over the last year, I believe that’s due to the new leadership in the college of communication role. Eureka College’s number one system to communicate for any crisis on campus we use RAVE. This systems alerts everyone who is in the college’s system. Eureka College use to have three different emailing systems that went out over the course of a week, having three different types of emailing systems became very overwhelming. Now there is just “College of Communications and the Re Devil Report.” These two emailing systems provide information from new hires, organization updates, community information, higher education information, spotlight on someone, games, updates, and anything else important. I want to attend Archbishop Mitty High School because I believe that I can have an excellent education while having fun at the same time. When I went to the Open House at Archbishop Mitty High School, I immediately knew that this was the school for me. At Archbishop Mitty High School, I saw that they have Debate, Student Council, and Volleyball. I am especially passionate about Debate. I also love volleyball because I know can stay active while having fun at the same time. Since Mitty is a catholic school, I can have a spiritual growth along with a good academic education. Maryville University is one of the top rated schools for the nursing program. My whole life I have planned on attending nursing school no matter how difficult the curriculum. I worked very hard in high school to keep a GPA which would impress many schools. School has always been a big and important part of my life. After researching schools with a high rated nursing program, Maryville University came upon my screen. I immediately scheduled a visit and after visiting, I completely fell in love with the campus and the faculty. A few days after my visit to Maryville I received an email stating I was accepted into the nursing program. Maryville was the only college I applied to and was the only college I planned to attend no matter the circumstances.

Hofstra University is a prestigious, intellectual community. Hofstra’s students are well-rounded intellectuals who have a passion for their studies. As Vice President of my class for two consecutive years I have become a well rounded person through my encounters with my fellow classmates and community. Through community service activities such as Safe Halloween, Senior Citizen Prom, and many food drives with the Student Council and Philosophy Club, I have engaged myself in not only the community writhing the halls of Bethpage High School but also in the Bethpage community. Hofstra University offers numerous clubs and activities which will enable me to continue my involvement in my community. I would love to attend Hofstra University to continue my other activities as well. Mock Trial Club and Yearbook Club have become two of my biggest passions. The dedication to these clubs and preparation necessary to achieve something within these clubs are completely different
