Writing means many different things to different people. Writing is a way to inform, persuade and entertain. I think writing is the best way to express your ideas feelings and thoughts. It also allows you to showcase what’s going on in your heart, mind and life. Writing is something I enjoy very much, but just as easily loath. Typically, I would write more if I write about a topic that interests me. Overall, I'd say writing is a way of life because of the sense of accomplishment one feel when finish writing. Writing for me is definitely therapeutic. To me writing can me viewed as a way of entertainment. Writing is putting all thoughts that I can’t say aloud on paper. One may write through motivation. Writing allows people to unleash my creativity.
"What writing is," wrote by Stephe King. In his opinion , he makes an argument of definition and writing is to compare a reason, when you want to explain something, talking about the history. Also, writing is a change of heart predator everyday lives expressing emotion are own or writing even is a language culture and a frame of a country without limit. To begin with "What Writing is" the author was believe writing offers the purest distillation. Because when your write, it just like a telepathy you can make your thinking be visible and when you writing by your seriously you will never lose your voice. For example, when you have a construction, if you construct your far- seeing a place, you can design with your idea and be different with anyone
It’s almost like music. I have a very strong passion for playing trumpet, and playing allows me to express myself. I’ve been playing for almost seven years now. Writing is the same because it allows you to expand your mind, or tell a story. I’ve written many papers throughout high school, and over time I’ve realized how important writing is.
I’m Katlynn Hauber. I have three sisters, two brothers, and two wonderful parents who support me in every way possible. My hobbies include FFA, working at a daycare, reading, and writing. I do FFA because I love agriculture, I do daycare because I love playing with kids. I read and write because it’s easy….well I think. What does writing mean? More importantly, what does good writing mean? Well to me, good writing means the story has to have a purpose. If the writer doesn’t have a purpose then why are they writing? It’s like if John Lennon’s hit song “Imagine” did not have meaning would people still be affected the same way they were when they first heard it, I think not. That is why I am taking this class to make sure my writing motivates
Writing is my thing, and I can’t help but do it every day! To me, it’s a talent, it comes as an urgent call of nature that must be appeased. I have been writing since 2012, which means, we are talking of more than four years of content creation. I base my writing solidly on research and facts. I understand that the key reason for online writing is to engage readers and softly provoke them to take the intended action.
I have always seen writing as a way of expression. Some people use drawings, dance, music… etc. as ways of expressing themselves or how they feel, but I believe there is no better way to express your thoughts, than in words.
If you were to type in “writing is…” into a search bar, the first suggestion that would pop up would be “writing is hard.” In many ways it can be, writing is an outlet to put all your personal thoughts and experiences onto a paper for all to see and criticize is nerve- racking. For any person writing can be a struggle to piece together their thoughts into coherency, but it is all part of the bigger process. Writing can help you convey what you truly believe and let your creativity run free through putting a part of yourself into your work. It is a way to let out any powerful emotions about something that is happening in your life in a healthy, almost therapeutic way. This idea of revealing your true self for your work can be seen in Leon Uris’s quote that states,” You can lie to your wife or your boss but you cannot lie to your typewriter sooner or later you must reveal your true self in your pages.” The author uses the typewriter as a metaphor for an object you can confide in and not lie to much like a diary.
Writing is a way to express our feeling and thoughts, and it helps us to convey memorable memories in our life on to paper. For most people writing is meditation, but for me writing gives me peace of mind and writing is stress relief. I like to share some marvelous facts about writing, and how it affected me as a writer. Personally I feel that writing can be a great source in expressing our feelings, hopes, and dreams that can’t be conveyed through spoken words. Especially, looking at Autobiography of Red in which Geryon used writing to document moments in his life and how he felt during that time. The only down fall with writing is my case is organizes my thoughts to flow how I would like them to.
Whether you are an outstanding writer or not that great, good writing has a meaning to you. To me, good writing is when it all flows together nicely and makes your reader stay interested. How I know I have written something well is when I’m proud of how my paper looks and how it has come together.
Writing not only make thinking visible but also redefine the ideas and thoughts. It improves communication skills, creative thinking and creativity. Writing is all about to play with words.
Writing is a great way to store memories, enjoy you spare time and your brain becomes creative and develops. I, personally, enjoy writing poems and fictional stories. It feels like I am living in a different world! You can use your writing skills later in life, too. Writing a fictional book, biography, memoir, can also be a great way to explore new things. Who knows, someone might your find your book as a “major historical
I think that writing is a way to for people to express what they are truly feeling on the inside; whether it's sadness, anger, or just pain it's all put on paper. As a writer myself, I love writing about my personal experiences with life, because it helped shape the person that I have become after the experience is over. Whether it's falling in love, or to lose someone who had been a considerable part of my life; it's those little details that make the greatest of difference. With this in mind, what makes a writer is when the person expresses their curiosity and feelings through a voice; for instance, most times my words are there but there's no voice coming out of my lungs.
The significance of writing for me is it can help me in school, work, and in the society or community. First, in school, writing can help me in my academic performance and in my relationship with my classmate, group mates, teachers, and friends. It can help me in communicating with other people and to express my emotions, feelings, thoughts, and opinions on a certain matter. Second, in work, writing can help me in working with my colleagues for them to understand what we are going to do and what is our plans or goals on some important matter that can help us to be successful. Writing can also help me in communicating with my co-workers so that we can work and finish a certain problem. Third and last, in society, writing aids the society by spreading out information that can increase the level of peace, awareness, and order to the people in a society. For example, the government make rules and regulations that can help the people and the society to be a good example to others.
What is writing? is it a form? can it be taught? To me, writing is something in which a person writes about either themselves or over something one is knowledgeable about. To be honest, I don’t really consider myself a writer, but by definition, I am one. Even if it an essay for school it’s still writing. The only thing I do write for myself is poetry because it isn’t as structured because all the rules are out the window. For example in essay’s you always need your intro, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. My journey of becoming a writer has affected me. I won’t say my writing is the best, but it isn’t the worst because when I was younger it was much worse. Since reading was always difficult for me because English isn’t my first language.
