Writing is my thing, and I can’t help but do it every day! To me, it’s a talent, it comes as an urgent call of nature that must be appeased. I have been writing since 2012, which means, we are talking of more than four years of content creation. I base my writing solidly on research and facts. I understand that the key reason for online writing is to engage readers and softly provoke them to take the intended action.
For over the years, I’ve enjoyed great success in writing articles, blog posts, web content and product reviews. I have also seen clients send me tips for the satisfactory projects I handled for them. I understand that the turnaround time is one of the most essential aspects of the writing process and therefore I ensure on-time
My relationship with writing is hard, my writing doesn’t always flow well. My writing also doesn’t always come easily to me. More often than not, I have to sit and think for long periods of time, for to come up with ideas on how to start my essays. When I start with paper and pen my hand will start aching, and that makes it difficult to concentrate on what I am trying to express through my writing as it takes my mind off what I am currently thinking of writing down. Writing is the course I have always struggled with the most throughout high school, and through my first year of college.
Writing is a practice that most of us were taught when we were young. We were taught the basics of grammar, how to form a sentence, conjunction words, how to write paragraphs and more. Although we have learned this skill while growing up and have used the skill every year after entering kindergarten, this does not mean our writing process will ensure the best work. The authors that I chose each encourage their audience to excel in the art of writing in their own way to help with the writing process.
I’m not a notable writer, nor have I really wanted to join the writing industry. However, I have been interested in other people’s writing. From their deep meanings, content, and different formats/styles. It’s a wondrous creation made from within our imagination and experiences. It has inspired me to write too. I’ve been writing most of my life that it has become a necessity. And now from my past experiences with writing, I try my best to improve my skills as a writer for the future.
I may not be the best writer there is out there but I do put all of me into each piece I develop. I believe in giving it your all at all times. If your giving it anything less why try at all. I'm huge on that theory and I believe it means a lot more than I believe it to be. I hope that each piece I submit this semester is nothing less than my best and I hope to take in all the criticism and use it to my advantage.
Writing has always been a love – hate relationship of mine. In the past, I have had many writing experiences, both good and bad. I find many things involved with writing both simple and difficult. But in the end, I hope to become a better writer, so it can play an important role in my future.
Writing is a skill that is used on a daily basis in different mediums: emails, texts, academic papers, and social media platforms. While some mediums are more formal than others, writing in a proper way is still critical. For some, writing is second nature while others face difficulties constructing the perfect message. Growing up, the concept of writing was much more enjoyable than physically putting pen to paper. I found value in the idea of being able to express myself through my writing, yet when it came to academic papers, I froze. This was due to the fact that my writing was being judged, and that elicited fear which, in turn, made me second guess my writing abilities. While attending community college, I was required to take an
I would have to say that I am closer to a writer than I use to be, but I’m also not where I would like to be. I was always told that I was a natural writer until I got to high school. Everyone either caught up to my level, surpassed it, or I plateaued. Trying to improve myself, I took honors and AP English literature. Unfortunately, I had only felt worse about my writing when I got to AP. My teacher, Mrs. Tomaselli, never gave anyone A’s so I did not feel too bad about myself, but gave no positive feedback. I did however compare a piece of writing I was very proud of that I did in 11th with a recent piece, both about my Polychondritis. The two pieces made me see the evolution of my writing. As far as the class English 101 goes, I have
Being a writer is not something that comes easy, it is something that must be worked at. You get better at it over time by practicing and improving your writing skills through the help of tools or other people. I persobnally wanted to better my own writing askills, so I began identifying my problems and finding resources to help better those fields in which I need help. My most major problems as a writer include my style or wirting, transitioning, and forming complete paragraphs. I found many helpful tools on my journey to become a better writer and I believe that I have strengthened my understanding of essay writing as well.
Writing is a process that is difficult to start, yet impossible to end. To sit down with a notebook and formulate the first thought that is notable can take a minute, but often takes me hours. My mind is very focused yet the focus of my thoughts wonders. Thus, to say that I was born to be a writer might just be the farthest from the truth. Now there is one large contradiction in that statement. Once I begin the writing process I have a tendency to get caught up in it. While my writing process as well as my writing style tends to vary based on topic and circumstance, my methods remain the same. I know that a course with such heavy writing will bring upon its own set of challenges, I hope to keep realistic expectations while utilizing my strengths as a writer in order to reach my course goals.
The most difficult part about writing an essay is getting started. Writers block is definitely a writer’s biggest fear. Hours upon hours spent drawing blanks, chewing away at the top of the pencil searching for ideas is certainly common for even the best writers. Even the author of Please Don’t eat the Daisies Jean Keer admits that she feels most inspired when she reads labels.
A learner’s ability to communicate effectively through writing to his/her target audiences is a major prerequisite for academic success. It is also a major pillar of success in one’s career across all areas of practice. Even though, writing clearly is critical to one’s academic and career success, I have not always loved writing. In fact, for a long time I despised writing. At one point, I had a feeling that my writings skills were bound to remain stagnated throughout my life. However, time has proven that I was wrong. My attitude and outlook towards virtually all genres of writing has changed positively. The various helpful methods I
Writing is a way to express our feeling and thoughts, and it helps us to convey memorable memories in our life on to paper. For most people writing is meditation, but for me writing gives me peace of mind and writing is stress relief. I like to share some marvelous facts about writing, and how it affected me as a writer. Writing can offer many rewardss when practiced regularly. Writing brings sense of peace and it can help better one’s memory.
Writing tends to be one of the best forms of presenting and preserving information. However, “poor” writing may not offer the desired message, is full of errors, offers irrelevant information or is uninteresting to the audience. I have been striving to develop my writing through various activates that entail freewriting and reading the “best” articles. Hence, my writing has significantly improved because it adheres to most of the applicable principles and procedures.
Writing, to me, is flinging “the gossamer thread” that Whitman describes. It’s basically my want to be understood. If I can somehow word an idea just right then it’ll serve as a bridge between myself and the reader better than any conversation could. The few times I’ve reached this sweet spot and created something I’m proud of has induced a kind of happiness I think is only accessible through writing. But while I do enjoy writing, I don’t think I’m very good at it. Constructing an essay or paper takes me far longer than it should. I tend to overthink each sentence, rewording and rewriting until they become borderline nonsensical. Because of this, writing can sometimes bring me as much stress as it does joy. I blame this on two things: my perfectionism
Although systemically different depending on the genre, style of writing and topic that is provided for me, the ultimate end product of my writing process contains hints of writing characteristics unique to my style of writing. If I am given a writing piece that provides a series of prompts that I can chose from, my process for writing this piece will start by creating a web. This web will contain a rough outline for each individual prompt, followed by a series of ideas that I have stimulated around the provided topic. Ultimately I will weigh the pros and cons for each prompt. It is here where I will look for which approach I can take that will best suit incorporating my personal voice. Utilizing my own voice in my writing is undoubtedly what
