I was given the name Stephanie Denise Hanthorn in February of the year 1992. I was born and raised on the Oregon coast and have always loved living by the beach. I’m a mom to a four legged furry creature named Roo Elvis who I adopted from the Oregon Humane Society about three years ago. I spend a lot of my time either hanging out with my dog, family or binge watching tv shows. I love to travel, take pictures, and try new foods. I’m a huge Seahawks football fan, but for the most part I love all things sports. In the past couple months I have started avidly watching youtube videos. I spend all of time watching videos on beauty —(hair, makeup, nail designs), how to’s and families that video blog their lives. Which I’ve recently thought I would be interested in doing is to video blog my own life. I think it would be cool to show people that you can accomplish anything you put your mind too and no matter when you want you can always start something new. When I was touring Paul Mitchell you could tell it’s about learning but also having fun. That the learning leaders truly care about you and teaching you what they know so you can be awesome in the field you decide to do in the cosmetology world! I picked Paul Mitchell to go to school at because I felt that it could become my home away from home, that I could exceed while studying there and that I would …show more content…
When I think about what inspires me one thing for sure is that my parents are one of my biggest inspirations. I grew up watching them have careers in something that they love to do. Watched them go out of their way to help others feel better about themselves. One of my inspirations that got me to decided that beauty school is something I wanted to do was that I want to help others feel better about themselves and sometimes just having your hair done can make anyone feel better about
I have chosen cosmetology as my research career. This career particularly interest me because it is something I would like to do with my life. I feel this career is filled with opportunities that can be very beneficial to me financially and emotionally. One specific goal I have in my life is to one day open my own salon.
Cosmetology has been my favorite thing to do since I was little. I love doing hairstyles and making people look fabulous. Since this is my last year in high school I want to plan things ahead, so that I know exactly what I want to do with my future. Cosmetology will always be something I want to do because I will always feel confident about how I look and feel about myself. I would love to learn new things about being a cosmetologist, so I can be a professional. When it comes to what I want I will do anything in my power to receive what I want. People should take advantage for the opportunities that are out there for them because in the future they are going to regret passing it up.
Before I graduated from high school, I devised a five year plan for myself. First, I would attend SUNY Albany to obtain a degree in business. Then, I would attend a cosmetology school, acquire the 1,000 hours needed to take my state board exams, take those exams to finally secure my cosmetology license. All of this would eventually lead to opening my own salon in the future. About a month before my graduation, an ambulance bolted my mom to the hospital.
Cosmetology is the general work on others hair and skin. The area of cosmetology I am going for is hair. I find working on other people’s hair fun and interesting. Makeup and nails are other areas of interest for me. I am going to be studying cosmetology to become licensed as an entrepreneur for hair, makeup, and helping to make the lives of others better. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills or training, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
I am going to be talking about,"Why i want to become a cosmetologist." I also will be explaining what i would love to learn. As a little girl,i always was interested in hair and make-up.I think to become a cosmetologist you have to really be interested in doing it.
A survey certified that average women spend about $13,000 on makeup in her life time. Not only that, but also spend 300 hours applying it. Beauty tends to increase the self esteem of women, they think more positive of themselves. Along with that like anything else cosmetology has revolutionized throughout the years. Cosmetology has played an important role in lives of women, it does not only represent beauty, but also self confidence.
When I graduate from high school, I plan on going to college for Cosmetology, and if you are not aware of what that is it is basically when you do hair, and get paid. Cosmetology is a very interesting career. You will learn many things from taking up that career.
Cosmetology is the study and application of beauty treatment. Branches of specialty includes hairstyling, skin care, cosmetics, manicures/pedicures. And a Fine Artists are artists that include painters, sculptors, and illustrators. In fine arts I would be doing painting/ body painting. For schooling I would love to go to University of Arizona or Eastern Arizona Collage. I have wanted to go to U of Arizona since I was 10. Eastern Arizona Collage offers the cosmetology class I need and University of Arizona has the Fine arts class I need. A lot of people have an interest in arts or something of the field. But the whole arts, makeup, and hair has been my escape from reality when ever I'm having a hard time at school or even in life. I've been doing (cutting and coloring) my own hair and doing my own makeup for 4 years. I have done other peoples hair and makeup before and gotten nothing but positive feed back. School will cost money so, I am going to be applying for scholarships.
Becoming a cosmetologist is an aspiration I have had since I was a child around eleven years old. Originally my plan was to enroll at Paul Mitchell in Tampa, Florida right after high school but, I chose to pursue an education in environmental engineering. After years of working in sales while going to school, incredibly unhappy, I chose to move to Los Angeles, California on a whim. Taking time to figure out where my life was headed and if I was truly happy. I have had the pleasure of being a model and assistant with Pulp Riot over the past three years and I came to the realization that my passion was hair and had always been that way. After making the decision to enroll in a cosmetology program, it was a no brainer to choose Paul Mitchell in
Traditionally, cosmetology is a career choice dominated by women, but traditions are made to be broken and these days, traditions are being blown to smithereens by enterprising, passionate and pioneering people, just like you. Cosmetology Being a cosmetologist requires you to be many different things at once. While doing this jobs you listen to people’s problems, boost their confidence and give someone a new look. All these things are amazing and can make or break a person’s whole day. That is why sometimes it can be very worthwhile if you give someone the right look. But it can be sad if they do not like the new style.
For my career I chose cosmetology. Cosmetology is the professional skill or practice of beautifying the face, hair, and skin. I chose this career because I would be able to work with a variety of people with different personalities. I would get to use the human body as an art canvas and the career offers a lot of variety because of its many branches.
When someone looks at your work and asks you “Is this what you want to do with your life?” and it’s something you’re proud of, you smile and say Yes. Becoming a cosmetologist and going to college for cosmetology has been my primary goal since I was fifteen years old. When I was Fifteen, I started out applying body paint to kids at festivals, When someone had seen my work and how detailed it was, they would always compliment it and ask me if I Plan to major in something that not a lot of people think of.
