“We need to talk about your daughter's performance,” my homeroom teacher, Mrs. Nelson, baldly admitted to my father. “She, no doubt, is a wonderful student,” she beamed at me, yet her smirk did not seem to reach her black, stern eyes, “she has perfect attendance, always has assignments and homework done, never talks unless called on, and just in whole, a polite and good-natured, young lady. But, she is still struggling immensely. As a result, I deem that it would be
To add on her greatest achievements follow, such as getting 100s on top 100s in her favorite subject Geometry. Always in school, she always relieves straight A’s on her report cards.
She is being awarded the Pride in the Profession Award by the American Medical Association due to the outstanding compassion she shows her patients. After each day, the students would hang out in the dorms and Gabriela was always open and kind to others. There was an incident where a student had a panic attack and Gabriela called me and stayed with the student until I reached them. Gabriela stayed with the student the entire night and even slept in the room of the student because the student didn’t want to sleep alone. Gabriela’s display of empathy and selflessness was admirable and are characteristics of a great leader.
It is with great pleasure that I recognize the service and bravery of this year’s honorees. The fight against cancer takes strength, bravery, and caring individuals. Winning the battle with cancer could not be done without selfless deeds and commitment to others to take on the fight while also giving back to the community. This year’s honorees and the Charmettes are incredible examples of how commitment to community positively impacts the lives of others. The dedication from these individuals
She is intelligent, hardworking, witty, charismatic, dedicated, loyal, and is an excellent speaker, reader, and writer. As a student, she read two or three grade levels above her grade level and was well read—reading most of the classics at a young age. I was quite impressed, but not surprised when she graduated at the top 10 percent of her high school class and graduated from The University of Texas in

To whom it may concern, Georgia Beckmann is one of the most intelligent, thoughtful and witty students I have seen in my counselling career. These qualities are impossible to miss through how she approaches her assignments, the quality of her insight into topics at hand, discussions in class and extracurricular activities. Georgia’s hard work has consistently earned her some of the highest grades of her class since freshman year, and she has continuously challenged herself each year to improve the quality of her work and analyses across academic disciplines. Georgia has earned straight A’s throughout her entire high school career, which is no surprise based on the hard-working spirit she exudes every day in all of her classes. This has carried
Am rating the program “A.” I like it so much that I decided to follow the program. It inspires me to what to uncover my own family root, to understand the challenges and sacrifices my own ancestors made to give my generation a better life. It was so interesting, how each guest, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd and John Turturro, discovered something new that was never told by their parents. The harsh experiences, risk, and decisions of their father/grandparent contributed to making them who they are today. I was deeply drowned to Scarlett’s story, “the hopeless of coming from a very poor family could have cost her, her dream of becoming a star, if not for her mother who motivated her. As she rightly puts it: “My story is really the American one: you can come from nothing and turn yourself into a part of the American Dream.” Before ending the program, Rudd

The extracurricular activity he likes the most is being an athlete as a runner. When asked the proudest accomplishment, Justin described how he was able to change from a chunky person to a slim fit athlete. When asked an example of leadership, he described he came up with some ways of motivating his team that his coach embraced when his running team was losing one time. There were not enough examples to show any of his strength in terms of resilience, challenges faced and overcome. Therefore his rating in Character/Self-Presentation is
