It was ninth grade when I was influenced by a miracle. His name is Jesus Christ and I believe that he is my savior. He influenced me to become a better person in life and his teachings still influence me to this day. Now, some people believe that he wasn’t a real person and everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but, I believe that he was a real person. Back then in the ninth grade I was childish, immature, and sort of a punk. I had no future goals or plans that would lead me to success. I was into different things that I now know I shouldn’t have been involved in. I would hang out with the wrong crowd and do things that hurt me overall. I wasn’t open for change and I didn’t even have a clue about religion. Jesus Christ influenced me …show more content…
I have changed my whole outlook on life because of him. My feelings of negativity left me and I have become more positive and I have learned from my mistakes. My grades have improved, I love my family more, and my life is a hundred percent better since I found Jesus. Things that I have learned since I Found Jesus include the following: Do not do drugs, do not drink alcohol, and do not smoke. All these things can lead to worse problems later on life. Alcohol and smoking can lead to serious health problems like cancer or liver failure. If I kept doing drugs I could have wound up in jail, hurting my family, and losing every thing. I did not want that to happen so I had to make some changes. When my friend Tyler passed away I was very tore up about it. That was the final push to make me realize that life is short and it needs to be lived justly. I first found out about Jesus at the age of fifteen by my friend and fellow brother in Christ, Greg. He showed me all the marvelous things that had happened to him after he accepted Christ and he wanted me to experience the same thing he did. To be honest, I had not one clue what to do but I gave church a chance and there they showed me some more convincing things about Jesus Christ. They showed me his word, which was in the bible, and I believe to a very enlightening book. It is the very guideline to follow if you’re trying to live a pure life. It also accounts for the
Some scholars argue that evidence of Jesus of Nazareth 's existence can only be found within the writings of the New Testament. They believe that the New Testament is a biased and unreliable source for the existence of Jesus. They therefore claim that Jesus did not exist. The historical existence of Jesus is necessary to demonstrate the truth of Christianity. While Christian scholars do not discount the reliability of the New Testament as a historical document, they are also able to point to other historical documents and consider non-Christian writings which support the existence of Jesus. In this paper I will argue that Jesus the Nazarene was an actual, historical person and that this can be demonstrated through extra-Biblical resources.
For example when I became friends with people from my soccer team they showed me something that I am forever thankful for. I was never a person to go to church. I never understood it. My father is a catholic and my mother was religious to an extend. Since my father didn’t stay with us it was me and my mom and it seemed like we never had time to go to church. When I made friends with my soccer team-mates they brought me with welcome arms to their church. Now this is my church. I’ve learned kindness in a different way now. I treat others in a different light

Please review all your responses above and write a three-paragraph summation of the Christian worldview. In your brief summation, explain why it is important to know the story of the Bible and the common thread throughout the flags in the "Story of the Bible." Finally, how does your interpretation of life compare with the Christian Worldview reflected in the biblical story?
There is only one way to god and that is threw Jesus Christ. We have to go through Jesus because we are sinners and sin cannot be in God’s presence. Sin is falling short of Gods glory and since we all fall short we need Jesus to bring us back. To have Jesus we must accept him.
“Who do people say that I am?” (Mark 8:27) is one of the most fundamental questions that Jesus asked his disciples. It is a question, from my personal viewpoint, that has a simple answer. Jesus is Lord! Needless to say, there is more to the identity of Jesus, but it is my belief that Jesus is the Messiah, the second person of the Holy Trinity. He is the promised Savior foretold in the Old Testament by the prophets. There is an endless list that gives Jesus titles such as Ruler and King, Master and Teacher, Savior and Christ, but in Acts 2:36 Luke writes, “God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.” Jesus is the one who went to the Cross to bring humankind forgiveness, redemption, and salvation.
Of all the incredible divine qualities Jesus Christ exemplifies, the one I love most is His constancy. He is the same “yesterday, today, and forever,” and as Moroni teaches us, from Him cometh “every good gift.” Because Jesus Christ is constant, all of God’s children who have ever lived or ever will live on the Earth can look to the scriptures and prophets to identify patterns of obedience by which they may obtain every one of these good gifts, This is in accordance with that law decreed in heaven, that “when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it was predicated.”

When this question is personalized, it becomes the most important question one will ever be asked or answer. Who is Jesus Christ to YOU? Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10, NKJV). In 1 John 5:11-13 we are told that if we have the son in our life we can KNOW that we have eternal life. Jesus is the only way for us to live an abundant life here on earth, or receive eternal life in fellowship with God. Jesus died on the cross to take the punsihment for our sins so that we could be sinless in the eyes of God. If we do not receive the free gift of eternal life by experiencing the forgiveness achieved by Jesus, then we will receive the punishment we
Yancey starts out with the image of Jesus. When he was young he had envisioned Jesus to have angelic features such as, young, handsome, and a compassionate face. It wasn’t until he entered into a Christian college, that he was introduced to the real image of Jesus. I had an immediate connection with Yancey. I too had an image of Christ in my head, which consisted of Hollywood portrayals and those in classical paintings. It wasn’t till I engaged myself at a Christian college, that I have now received a new and more accurate picture of Christ. His book, The Jesus I Never Knew, questions the reader with the thought, “How many Christians today are in the same position, not fully understanding
Now-a-days it seems like religion has become somewhat of a taboo. It has fallen on the back burners, pushed behind things such as famous actors that people look up to or things portrayed in the media. The thing is, the most important figure in history is part of religion and should be revered much more than the idolized actors of today. The human population has become blind to spiritual life and has become engulfed by a social lifestyle. If you look around, people have forgotten what it’s like to know Jesus and any aspect of religion. Religion is the biggest part of any person’s life because it is the building block for everything we have.
When discussing and proving the person of Christ, there are two basic laws that must be addressed and proven. First you must prove that Christ is one hundred percent human (humanity), then you must prove that at the same time Christ is one hundred percent God (deity).
The Passion of the Christ is one of many films about the life of Jesus but this particular one is different to the others. Released in 2004, directed by Mel Gibson and filmed in the ancient Aramaic language, `The Passion' focuses mainly on the death of Christ and shows us the full extent as to what he suffered to save mankind.
An angel appeared before a woman named Mary and stated to her that she would give birth to a son. She would name her son Jesus. Mary being a virgin gave birth to a child, conceived by God through his Spirit. Jesus being conceived in a supernatural manner became man and God in one creation. God became incarnate in this child who became known by the name of Jesus (Mathew 1:18-25) . Jesus was a Palestinian Jew, born in a town south of Jerusalem, raised in Nazareth in a small village in Galilee. Jesus was not any ordinary child. Jesus was the son of the living God. Not only was He the son of Mary, He was foremost the Son of God. He was incarnated sent to us for the redemption of all mankind. So how do we handle the incarnation of God?
Back in October of 2016, I would say my faith in God was scratched and grew in a way that has made me who I am today. I was faced with a tough time in my life where I encountered a situation I was not expecting. My heart was hurt and I was in a place of being statement because my spirt was feeling empty. I was confused at The Lord and constantly wondering why he would put me through this time. I felt at times that my dreams were crushed and my life was falling apart. But that was an emotion not the truth.
