The race to the White House came with an unprecedented win by the Republican nominee,Donald Trump.Trump won because he was a famous and a successful business mogul, and people knew that if he was successful in the business industry,he would be a successful leader for our country. Hillary Clinton lost because nobody wanted a president who would use a private server for government business. Trump has a few strengths.Trump is very successful in business which in turn has made many job opportunities for our fellow Americans. Trump speaks his mind, this is a good quality because that means that no other nation can deteriorate the American nation and because people will understand what he wants done for the common good of this country. He used his
Trump speaks his mind and he scares people, Donald can be a good president because his success can help our country grow, he plans to change this country for the better. You see him everywhere, you hear his name all the time. He is a wealthy businessman who has decided to run for president. Trump has 7.7 million twitter followers and one of the most known people in the country.
Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign has come at a time after having a president serve for two terms. Americans are eager for change. Donald Trump promises to be the change to fix the nation’s concerns about foreign affairs, and immigration
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
Trump’s win was mainly because he appealed more with white working class voters in the Pennsylvania and the Midwest. Trumps speeches where very relatable to these voters. No matter what he spoke on. Whether it was on hoe America trades and spends money outside the U.S versus spending our money with our people, Hillary’s venal actions within her
Donald Trump could not meet the same political expectations that presidents before him had. Americans have elected experienced politicians from the beginning, and they have watched the world progressively get worse every election. The people of the United States were tired of being let down by lying politicians that had promised the moon and stars but couldn’t deliver. In an article written by A.J. Delgado it states, “But the American public has reached a tipping point- we’d rather gouge out our eyes than select another career politician or Washington insider.” This quote is one that I couldn’t agree with more. Americans finally decided for themselves that enough is enough, and we deserve a change in this
On the other side of the aisle, we had a candidate that everyone either loved him, hated him, or thought “is this a joke?”. The candidate Trump was brash, unfiltered, unrelentless and did something that not many in our history have done. He gathered those with ideological values different from him. He angered or placed hope in the minds of voters that desperately needed and wanted a change.
First, let us look more closely at the candidates. Donald Trump is a rich businessman who repeatedly makes bombastic or ridiculously callous statements, has a rich history of objectifying/demeaning women which include accusations of sexual assault, and is a reality television star. He has alleged mafia ties and has a long history of unsavory business dealings as well as lawsuits. Further, as presidential nominee, he provides no concrete plans for any the things he is going to “make great again”, and merely repeats endlessly how much of a “winner” he is while pointing at the opposition and calling them losers. He is running on the Republican ticket, but it is not even
Donald Trump is one of multiple 2016 presidential candidates, and he is favored by countless republican Americans.Trump has numerous great ideas and terrible ideas. There are innumerable debates on whether Donald Trump or the other candidates are suitable enough to be president or not.
Changes are not always for the better of the world. Going from a good president to a business man is not easy adjustment. Although trump won the election, Donald trump will not make an effective president because he is racist and he will destroy the world.
What makes someone a good candidate for president? Someone that can “Make America great again” which brings me to my candidate, Trump. Donald Trump is more of a businessman than a presidential candidate, but we could use the business aspect in running our country today. The amount of debt we are in is a major problem and I believe Trump can help by producing jobs and make a plan for even after his presidency. Throughout this paper, I will inform readers on Trumps background and what he believes in. Also, I will inform readers on a few things he wants to do for our country to “Make America great again.” Another is the history of Trump and how he has switched from Republican to Democratic parties multiple times. Finally, about some of the major arguments on why he should not become president.
Donald Trump has chosen to run as a republican in 2016 election. Since it was announced in June 2015, Trump’s campaign has been wildly successful. In only two months, he rose to first place and has maintained that position since August 2015. Donald has promised some changes in the U.S government. Which is also why a lot of people were supporting him? Me personally I think Donald Trump would not be such a great president. I am going to list some reasons of why I think so.
To begin, his background definitely stands out compared to literally every other American president. For one, he is labeled as a business man and not a politician. This label couldn’t be closer to truth because he has never held an office or served in the military. The reason this makes him so unique is because he is the only American President to have this form of resume. Based off this criteria, he is the most inexperienced president in American history. In the Executive office’s 227 year existence, from George Washing to Barrack Obama, there has never been a president who has entirely lacked both political and military service. However, Trump has broken this barrier. The previous US presidents came into the White house with an average of 13 years in public office and 5.6 years of military service (Crockett). This unique
Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America on November 8th, 2016, and now has been running our country for over a year. As Trump’s first year in office slowly began, his reputation seems to be creating different outside views of our nation and arguments started producing everywhere. After competing with Hillary Clinton for the presidential term in office, Trump defeated her along with her democratic supporters causing one of the most shocking elections in U.S. history. Using public media web pages, we are reviewing both sides of the argument regarding Trump’s election and we are going to decipher why each arguer supports their side, and why each side is reasonable for the benefit of our country.
He now leads the pack of Republican hopefuls by double digits. Whether he has planned all this or is simply winging it, nothing the Donald has done so far seems to be able to keep him from being a Presidential Candidate in 2016. For better or worse, Trump has managed to accentuate the positive and explain away any negatives in his life so far. Like most New Yorkers his speaks his mind and takes on all comers. As a fellow New Yorker I can say that in New York City failure is not an option and Trump has spent his life proving that very fact. It remains to be seen if he can remain at the top of the political heap. That all depends on his ability to explain, in detail, exactly how he can solve so many of the problems Americans face. Stay
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two years, the United States of America has an election coming up on the eighth of November. This campaign has gotten ugly. There has been fighting, rioting, accusations of improper conduct, and a whole heap of other things between the two political parties. Some people would argue that our country is divided more now than ever in history. On the Democratic side, you have Senator Hillary Clinton. She has the motivation of becoming America’s first female president. Over on the Republican side, you have Donald Trump, a billionaire, real-estate mogul, businessman. These two candidates have two very different backgrounds. Hillary Clinton has been in the political arena since 1976. She was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2001 and was appointed as the U.S. Secretary of State in 2009. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has never held any kind of political office. He got into real-estate in 1971 and has since then made the Trump name synonymous with real-estate development. With their backgrounds being as different as they are, their personalities are just as different.
