Cigarettes aren't just bad for our health their bad for the environment to. According to the Bolton Stop Smoking Service it takes five to ten years for a cigarette to biograde, unless someone would clean them up. Cigarettes pollute the air and can cause animals and people to get sick. Also about fifteen billion cigarettes are being smoked everyday, that means 1,643,836 trees are being cut down everyday. This information is stating that a cigarette will take five to ten years to decompose. Also showing that cigarettes affect the environment around us. In addition to that lots of cigarettes are being smoked leading to several trees being cut down. So as a result cigarettes are bad for the environment and should be illegal.
