Writing and reading for me started really young with me. I was learning to read and write before I was 2. My mom was teaching me and I had a Phonex person come to my house and would help. I was a year younger than almost everybody else in my kindergarten class. I was able to go into school younger because I scored high enough on a test I had to take. I was always reading books when I could when I was young which is why I was able to read bigger words than most kids my age could. I was able to read at a 4th grade level when I was in 1st grade. This all fell in place because my dad was always telling me to read and write when I had free time if I wanted to be better than everybody. When I was younger I always trying to be better …show more content…
Then I was wasn’t reading nor writing. So my dad got back on to me to start again we would lay on the couch and I would read animal books. Once I remember that I couldn’t remember the word silverback so my dad got mad and would throw the books across the room and scream at me which he knew that would only make me want to be better. So I would go to my room and read the book over and over again so that I would remember what the word meant and I would pick up on context clues. It really helped me figure out words that I didn’t know. I was back to writing in my in my hunting dairy. I got into shooting long distance because I thought it was cool and I wanted to become a sniper. I would shoot a milk jug with my pellet gun at distance of about 150 to 200 yards and I would write details like the wind the temperature and the humidity because I found out the the colder and drier the air was the pellet would fly further and straighter because there was no water in the air to slow or cause draft with my pellet. I found that I needed to hold a certain amount of mil-dots for so much wind and it helped me become a better shoot. This is all because I was documenting all of the info from when I was shooting. I would look up the weather for my area and I would write everything from barometric pressure to the wind
I eventually began taking the initiative myself to perfect my reading and writing skills. I was determined to have this down by my fifth-grade year. I would make charts and write repeatedly until I learned the letter or word. My mother would make me spell out words and write the out until I was blue in the face. I started reading books with bigger vocabulary; and I had to test on the books to pass to the next level of
During adolescence, I began reading and writing through a fundamental learning program called, "Hooked on Phonics." This program consisted of long hours spent reading short novels and writing

I don’t remember how I learned to write, I know I did obviously but it’s a mystery to me how. I barely remember my early years of schooling. Over my seventeen years of life I have had personal experiences with writing and English teachers that have formed me into the caliber writer that I am now.
Through the early years of my life, learning how to read was a main focus in school. Every day I would walk into elementary school and within the first hour, I would be called out into the hallway. I would sit down and
I have realized the importance of writing in my daily life. Writing is communication and it’s how individuals talk and how one can exchange dialog to other people. I know that I need to be able to write in some capacity in whatever profession or academic program that I go into. The future I choose depends on what I write right now.
Computers have done a lot of things to make my life easier but I would not like one grading my paper. There are so many important elements to writing that involve emotion that I wouldn’t trust a computer to understand. Good writing should make you feel something. Artificial intelligence has come a long way but it is exactly that, artificial. I want a human to grade my papers. Another important element of writing is your audience and if you know your teacher likes writing a certain way then you should cater to that when you are writing.
In my past academic career, I have found that writing essays and papers are one of my strong points. I like writing because it allows me to write down things, and put things together that might be harder to speak then write. The most difficult thing for me about writing is having to write a paper that does not have a page limit, a topic, or relatable subject.
In order to bring to pass what God has called you to do you have to put it down on paper or on your computer. Keep a note book with you or something to write with at all times. The Lord will speak to you in various places and you need to write it down so you will not forget.
Writing has always been an important skill for me. Even though I enjoy writing, I always look forward to having my writing at perfection. With the resources I learned, I now have a better understanding for apostrophes, word usage, and essay organization. I hope what I learned from the resource will help improve and write more effectively. Not only it helps students like me to write better in college, but can be an important skill for jobs.
Learning anything in school was very hard for me growing up because I always felt discouraged when there were people learning the curriculum faster than I did or making better grades, but reading and writing was something that I always wasn’t discouraged with. I learned how to read and write from experiences and creativity that I had or that was shown to me. My family had a lot of issues and a lot of drama would happen that my brother and I caught in the middle of it so I found a way out of it.
Writing is considered to be a meaningful way to portray thoughts in my opinion; writing is ultimately very valuable to me, and I love writing about things regarding my life in different locations. I consider myself to enjoy writing in most circumstances; therefore, I often write to clear my mind, sort things out that are consumed in my life, and enjoy writing for school purposes on particular occasions. Furthermore, writing can be a clever technique to pursue in order to sort out things that pertain in my life. I have reasons to believe writing certain emotions or events that dwell in my mind on paper can be a method of organizing my thoughts in a healthy manner. Consequently, I have noticed that I tend to enjoy writing pieces that incorporate
As a student who has now been in college for a semester, I think that writing exemplifies how well you do in college. Others may argue that writing does not play a big role in determining if one does well in college or not. As I stand by my opinion of writing playing a big role in how well someone does in college, there are many things you still have to do over your years in college.
I started Pre-K when I was three. In Pre-K I learned how to write my name and small words. One thing I remember is that my teacher would not let us move onto the next word until we got it right. We had a chart in the room where if you completed a word correctly then you got to put a sticker on it by your name. So I had the motivation to become better with my writing skills when I was younger. When I would go home at night from school, I would have my mom help me write and have her tell me what to write. On the weekends when my dad was home, we would always go outside and play with chalk. He would make up silly games, to where it would have me write out words. My dad would always turn everything into games because I was very competitive, so he knew if it was a game I would try my hardest to beat him. I only remember so much, but my mom will tell these stories to new parents and to try to embarrass me.
First, I started learning how to write a letter. Later on I learned that letters became words and the words became sentences .Also, reading a book taught me how to write was a way of expressing my feelings. Even if the life experience of a six years old child does not have a lot of things to write about, the adventures of everyday life inspired me to write my first page in my life.
