Your self-assessment is in line what my experience.
Your ability to deliver quality code, on time is definitely a strength.
One of your other strengths is being able to see the big picture in many situations, not exclusively project situations, and clearly, articulate your views.
Your work ethic is another strength.
You've done an excellent job over the last year being an integral part of your Business Intelligence project. You've excelled in ever aspect of your performance on you current project You learned a new technology quickly. You've met every sprint commit. You've become integral to your team and client. You've had a great work ethic, doing what is needed to get the work done. And you've stepped outside of your project to help others
My greatest personal strength is that I am comfortable speaking to large groups. This will enable me to clearly give information and guide the ensemble effectively in any situation.
Throughout my educational career I have learned the importance of a strong work ethic. In middle school I was able to accomplish all of my school work, take advanced classes, maintain grades above a C average, and take part in after school activities without much effort. High School on the other hand, forced me to mature and develop a work ethic to succeed as a student. Maintaining, the same GPA, I balance acting and directing for my school’s theater company, volunteering as a part of the National Honor Society, being involved in International Club and Student Council, working part time at my local library, and excelling in Advanced Placement classes. With so many obligations, sound time management skills are a necessity. Since I learned to succeed with a multitude of responsibilities that once seemed overbearing, I am seeking to challenge myself through an education at Indiana University with a clear and organized approach.
was raised by my parents to never lose sight of my goals and to always have a positive work ethic. My parents were born in India and they moved to Canada in hopes that their children could have a better life. They work hard everyday so that my siblings and I do not have to quit school like they did. My greatest eye opening experience was when I started working with my mother as a general factory worker in grade ten. The working conditions were very tough in which we stood for long hours and we had to be constantly working quickly. I met many great women and men who were new immigrants and heard their struggles in their birth country. However, despite all of the pressure they were thankful for their job and to be living in Canada. At the young
I believe in the principle of working hard, and I believe sports are the reason I am who I am today. My whole life my parents pounded into my head the importance of hard work. I had heard this idea so many times, I never really understood what it meant, I just knew it must be important. As I grew up, I realized how many amazing things sports have taught me, and I am thankful for the work ethic I have now, because of sports.
I have heard my grandpa say “times have changed” about a hundred times, but I normally just let it go in one ear and out the other. Last Saturday when he told me “times have changed” really caught my attention. That phrase made me realize for the first time that my generation has become self-centered. Self-centered is a person who only thinks about themselves, their own need and their own interest. Self-centered people do not do anything people tell them to do, and they think everything is about them. These types of people act like the world owes them something. However, today’s generation tends to be more self-centered than earlier generations.
I grew up with a strong work ethic. My family was in the farming and dairy business, they worked hard and saved, so I was taught to be frugal. I married young, out of high school. The marriage didn’t work and I was left with three children to support and raise. I did so by starting a cleaning service, eventually it grew to the point I had six employees, however I did not have enough education to know how to expand and make it really successful. Because I had sole responsibility of raising a young family, I had no time to further my education and in those days, there were no online courses. LOL, now I’m telling you my age. After the children were grown and moved away from home, I decided to slow down and not work as hard as it had begun to take
I am currently a sophomore at Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio. So far I have two years of varsity experience in both lacrosse and wrestling. I am a captain of the wrestling team and my goal is to be voted a captain for the lacrosse team next year. My biggest goal as of now is trying to get in both an academically and athletically prestigious school. I would be a different candidate from most others because of two main characteristics I have; work ethic and toughness. My biggest advantage over others is knowing that I can out-work them no matter who they are and have the mental toughness to carry me through it. Thank you for looking at my profile and feel free to contact
Growing up in a family that owns a business is no easy task. Between the odd hours and time spent running the restaurant, there is a large time commitment. This incorporates maintenance work, bookwork, and the regular restaurant staff positions. The busiest days of the week are Fridays and Saturdays; while most people have time off of work on the weekend, my family works until 10:30 at night. However, this experience has left me with three beneficial values and skills: work ethics, independence, and social skills.
I graduated high school in 2009, afterwards I enrolled at the University of Arizona and during the subsequent 3 years I made every bad decision a teenager could make. I am now five years removed from my time at Arizona and the learning I have gone through has been far from ideal. I have had many dark days, coming face to face with depths of depressions that is difficult to articulate to a person who has never faced these kind of demons. Through this personal fire I have been able to come out of, I have become hardened. Hardened to tough challenges and difficult situations. Over the last 2 years while attending community college I have also work 2 jobs, in total equaling over 70 hour weeks that consist of school and work. My work ethic at this
You have a strong understanding of the purpose and needs of our project; every suggestion of yours has been carefully considered, and proves that you are listening and expanding on other team member’s ideas. Your suggestion of a tagline for our app was especially creative.
What I mean by having a good work ethic is like me saying that i’m going to the gym or playing basketball anytime i can so i can get better so i can dominate on the court . And by doing that you have to put the work in and that’s by you waking up early going to the gym for extra shooting reps and going to work out on shot form and ball handling. For example when i went to the gym the person at the front desk looked at me and he said man you come to the gym alot and that kind of made me happy .
My current strengths include; my honesty and passion towards my work. I have always been positive and confident regarding my aims and targets. Along with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and do team work. I am also a responsible person, when I make a target; I work day and night to achieve my goal.
When it comes to who I am in my career, a few of my strengths shine through more than others. For example, I put everything I have in to my work and into my career, and looking back at how I’ve worked in the past compared to now, I see my strengths restorative and developer.
My personal strengths are that I am a keen learner and organized person because like Benjamin Franklin I believe that if I fail to plan then I am planning to fail. Above all I am confident that I have made the right choice and that I am a suitable candidate for
In America some jobs are more sought after than others, and to hold these positions without having it taken away requires experience and a good work ethic. There are many ways to show that a person has a good work ethic. Some are going to college and graduating with good grades. Others are getting and holding a job in or after high school or doing internships. However, there can be complications when a person is trying to show their interviewer that they have a good work ethic. Without a previous job or internship there is not much information about the individual applying for the job. Thus the employer might choose another worker. Even if the person without a previous job or internship is a harder worker with a better work ethic, they cannot show this until they are hired, and that is a risk that several companies do not take. Impressing potential employers requires the ability to show that one can receive and hold a previous job, or have been an internship that give the intern with experience in the work field.
