I work at the office supplies store, Staples, in Waltham MA. Working at Staples has been an invaluable experience that has improved my confidence, patience, problem-solving skills, and flexibility in unanticipated situations. I work at the cash register, customer service desk, or out "on the floor" organizing the store and helping customers.
The most rewarding part of the job is when I get to spend in-depth time with customers. For example, one afternoon I was working on the floor, weaving my way through the brightly colored pens and folders when I reached a family who looked lost.
In a thick accent, the father asked, "Spanish?". I switched to Spanish, which I learn in school. Waltham has a growing immigrant population and sometimes customers
Macy's paid me better than my other job even though I was a seasonal cashier. I think I valued this job more than any other. When I opened an account and was it approved, or not I got rewarded for that which at my previous job that was not even a chance. I also like how co-workers treated me. I was family to them and that meant a lot. The pay may have been a few dollars more, but I sure appreciated the way I was treated it was worth the pay.
Currently so far being employed at the cafeteria. I work through the morning shift every weekday till friday an sometimes weekends. I mostly start my mornings by waking up at 5:30 everyday to get to work by 6:15 to 7:50. Then I have about 10mins to get to my classes, but in the end having to wake up early and sometimes going to school half asleep. Its been well worth it. I'm really glad to have my job and make some money while doing school at the same time. An just being able to work along side my fellow peers and co-workers has been a real experience. That has allowed me to understand in a way how serving food in the food industry is like and as well as having good leadership skills. All in all working at the Crampton Cafeteria has been a
I head into the building and start my work. Work for me is a joy. A job that makes me write reports about numbers, ask Asi about numbers, talk to clients about numbers, and tell my boss about the numbers was all I could ask
My ideal job would be an assistant store manager at Brookshire’s Grocery Company. I chose this job because I have spent the past four years working at the Palestine, Tx store location and have loved my time there so far. I would like to continue working in such a great work environment and move up to the position of assistant store manager.
I had found employment in a company called ElDirect. While I was employed at ElDirect I was a caregiver that looked out for the well-being of the elderly. If the elderly had difficulties doing certain activities in their daily lives I was there to assist them in any way that was helpful.
There have never been any scenarios in my life so far where I was unable to solve a problem, instead of coming up with one that’s not connected to me I will instead describe a scenario where I did solve a problem. I used to work at JCPenney as a sales associate in the kid’s department, one day I had a customer have a bit of a break down. One of my co-workers didn’t know how to help this lady, so I went back and lent a hand. I kindly asked her what she was looking for she told me a medium sized mickey doll for her daughter’s birthday (she was there with her daughter and husband) but we didn’t have this doll out on the floor, so instead of telling her we didn’t have it and making matters worse I told her id look in our system to see if we had
Best for: For the people who may need a respectable assurance of office furniture despite their office supplies.
I could not understand her language , and she could not understand mine, This is one of the problems hispanics face in America, and it is the language barrier. I think we need more Hispanic officer or spanish speaking officers to bridge the language gap with Hispanic. I know if it was that much trouble in a store there are much more problems with dealing with the justice system, so they need help or they might keep falling prey to the justice system (Baker,
started working at Lowes in the paint department. I loved where I worked, the people I worked

As you already understand based on our meetings in the last two months to set P&WC expectations via Staples Advantage in today’s environment and business requirements.
What I most enjoy about my job is that I’m always learning something new in warranty! I get to work with Microsoft Office and build spreadsheets and worksheets for my peers.
Have you ever found yourself wondering “what would it be like to work there?” Being employed since I was fourteen, at three different companies, I have acquired a lot of skills and experience. I was employed at my first job, the Community Design Center (CDC), for four years. I was a member in the garden corps, and moved up to a position in the conservation corps team. If you had a job at the CDC some tasks would include tending to organic gardens, parks, and nature sanctuaries. My next job was at Super America (SA) as a customer service representative. Over the three years that I was employed there I was promoted to a food representative, and then a shift lead. While working at SA one will find themselves: facing shelves, stocking shelves, helping customers, and cleaning and maintaining appliances. My current job is at the American Automobile Association (AAA); I started out as a license clerk and was promoted to my current position as a license specialist. At AAA you could expect assisting customers with drivers license renewals, vehicle title transfers, and Department of Natural Resource transactions (DNR). The CDC, SA, and AAA some people will say they are good jobs to be at, especially at a young age, but being an employee at the CDC has been the most rewarding and pleasurable job.
Where do you do? Who do you work with? What is the work environment like? Who are your co-workers? Your boss? Do you get along with the people you work with/for?
For the first time I worked with so many people, this job gave me the chance that communicate with others. The first day of my work, my supervisor told me to go to the connoisseur to take the posters, but I got lost in the midway, I had to ask different people to get there, it made me knew that the importance of communication and listening. Also, this taught me a lesson, the other time I need to find the connoisseurs or clients, I had to prepare how to get there, how long I should take, now I am get used in well preparation.
