Statement of Intent

Context- I will be taking on the persona of Li Cunxin writing to the Communist Party, based on the text, Mao’s Last Dancer.

Purpose- To inform them of how confronted he is about Western culture, while exploring real life issues. Li seeks for change to be reflected in the Chinese government.

Audience- Communist Party
