We learned that burning is a chemical reoction thot powers on engine becouse a lot of energy is releosed, and
the temperoture change powers o piston which can make the rest of the car move
We would like to find a reaction that doesn't result in adding more CO, to the otmosphere
When the motter rearranges, sometimes energy is released to the environment and sometimes energy is
transferred to the porticles from the environment.
Our current models can't reolly exploin or predict f energy will be transferred to or from the surroundings
Our current models show us that the otons rearronge during a chemicol reoction to make new substonces,
but the models don't exploin how or why the arrange the woy they do
We should find a way to model this so we can understond how these atoms end up in the arrangements they
are in and if thor hos onything to do with how the energy is tronsferred
