From the given set of instructions, the given questions are answered below:

1. When rice is mixed with water containing other impurities, it forms a heterogeneous mixture with water.

In this mixture, rice goes down at the bottom of the container in which it is mixed.

2. The mixture of Rice and impurities can be separated as follows:

Rice is ordinarily washed before cooking. When water is added to these, the impurities like dust and soil particles would get separated.

These impurities move into the water and make it a little muddy.

3. Rice has a higher density than husk and it goes down at the bottom and husk being lighter goes up on the surface of the water, so this way husk can be separated by handpicking.
