Resistance – at normal temperature material opposes the flow of electric charge through them, the opposition of flow of electric charge in material is known as resistance of material.

Unit of resistance is ohm(Ω).

Relation between resistance of material and temperature is defined as

where
R =resistance of material
Ro resistance of material at reference temperature(room temperature)
a temperature co-efficient of material
T material temperature in celcius.
