Step 1

The two given compounds are same if the formula and spatial arrangement of all the groups are same. They are superimposable.

The given compounds are enantiomers if they are mirror images of each other. For this condition to be satisfied, the atoms or groups attached to chiral center have opposite configurations.

The given compounds are diasteremers if they are non-mirror images and non superimposable isomers of each other.

Step 2

The stereochemical relation between the two compounds may be suggested by giving R- , S- configuration to the stereocenters in the given two compounds.

Step 3

In the first compound, the chain is numbered as to get the longest possible chain and including the maximum number of side chains.

At position 3-, the priority order of the groups is : Group on left (with Cl) > Isopropyl > Methyl > Hydrogen

On moving from the groups of priority order 1 to 4, we move clockwise and thus, it gets a configuration R-.
