The portion of the immune system has various functions. They include safeguarding the body from illness-causing invaders, retaining body fluid levels, consuming digestive tract fats and eliminating cellular waste.
Lymph construct from the fluid that oozes through the thin walls of capillaries into the body's tissues. This fluid includes oxygen, proteins, and other nutrients that strengthen the tissues. Some of this fluid reenters the veins, and some of it enters the lymphatic vessels .

The lymphatic vessels include the capillary plexus, and collecting lymph vessels containing lymphatic ampullae, diverticulum, lymphatic trunks and ducts,constitute lymphatic system. Lymphatic vessels are arrangements that absorb fluid that diffuses from blood vessel capillaries into enclosing tissues.
