If I have a net ionic equation of  Cu(s) + 2NO3- -> Cu2+(aq) + 2NO2 (g) + 2H2O(l) To find the limiting reagent from that I would take the molecular weight of NO3- not the original HNO3 that the ion came from correct? Because I need to relate moles of Cu(s) to moles of HNO3 (aq). The HNO3 is fairly straight forward because you use 25ml of 6.0M HNO3 so its straight forward multiplication there but I am not sure how to get from moles of HNO3 to NO3- except for that they must be the same? I mean its 1 H for 1 NO3- right?  Just looking for a little direction here.
