The covalent bond is formed by the sharing of the elections. If the electronegativity of the atoms of the covalent forming bond is the same, the electrons are equally shared between the two atoms, and if the electronegativity of the atoms of the covalent forming bond is not the same, the electrons are unequally shared between the two atoms and the atom of higher electronegativity is get negatively changed and less electronegative atom gets positively charged.
