What is the job of wheel cylinder stops?

Wheel cylinder is a component of a hydraulic drum brake locates in each wheel and generally positioned at the top of the wheel. The function of wheel cylinder is to exert pressure force on the shoes to bring them into contact with the drum and stop the vehicle.
