In July and August of 2012, I volunteered with the Nepal Volunteers Council1 for a month in Kathmandu, Nepal, and I found that despite the NVC hired many international volunteers who contribute a considerable amount of money to the organization, it did not disclose to any volunteer its source of funding or where and how much was the money spent. Later on, I was informed that there was actually a board which provides the major funding for the NVC, implying that the organization was not as responsible
