My current place of work provides policies and procedures about the use of protective equipment and how/when you must use them as PPE is essential when working within hazardous activities such as disposing of hazardous waste, preparing/handling meals, cleaning etc.

The second accident at the "Timken Steel Faircrest plant" company which a is an employee fall down more than 40 feet which led to several broken bones because of just a small mistake. The problem is when he made a maintenance on a crane he wasn't ware Certified safety harness which it could safe his live from the risk. I used to do a maintenance on more than one cran and my company doesn't allow me to go without waring a Certified safety harness because they have to keep all the employees a way from all the risk and even if they didn't told me to ware it, I will not go up to the cran without it, do the fact that no one knows what will happen and even if I am good at this job, I have to work safely. 5.4 Current regulations set out by the health and safety executive are, 1) Every employer shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that any personal protective equipment provided to his employees by virtue of regulation 4 (1) is properly used. (2) Every employee shall use any personal protective equipment provided to them by virtue of these Regulations in accordance both with any training in the use of the personal protective equipment concerned which has been received by him and the instructions respecting that use which have been provided to him by virtue of regulation 9. (3) Every self-employed person shall make full and proper use of any personal protective equipment provided to him by virtue of regulation 4(2). (4) Every employee and self-employed person who has been provided with personal protective equipment by virtue of regulation 4 shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that it is returned to the accommodation provided for it after use

These regulations seeks to ensure that where the risks cannot be controlled by other means, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is correctly selected and used.

An experiment was done to determine the concentration of Allura Red in a commercially available beverage, Gatorade. This was done by using the colorimeter, the absorbance of five Allura Red solutions were measured. The graph obtained demonstrated a linear relationship and the equation obtained yielded a concentration of 1.9910-6M.

My first question to Dynamic Duo is that if they have a security measure to control who can enter the plant. According to the case, a compliance officer entered the building unaccompanied. The norm is that a manager or in this case, the safety manager give the visitor a tour around the plant and explaining them the procedure they’re taking to keep the plant safety. The case doesn't mention whether the compliance officer was wearing personal protection equipment or not, but is the responsibility of the manager to make sure everybody wears they PPE “personal protection equipment”. In that same note regarding security, Dynamic Duo needs to make some improvement about people entering their facilities (Bernardin & Russell, 2013).

Regarding safety issues, how does management see its responsibilities toward its employees? How do the attorneys see their responsibilities toward PPI?

Customers to organizations where workers do not wear theuniform have been unable to spot the employees for help and guidance. The problem has contributed to the downfall of many other organizations whose employees lack uniform at the workplace. Besides, the management team has also been facing a challenge in monitoring work delivery by the employees available at the company. It has then resulted in the loss of customers, lack of transparency for the company as well as loss regarding profitability and progressing of the company. The problem, since it affects all sectors of the organization, the solution to it is then proposed to be worked on as a project, with the permission from the project manager. Seeking the solution to the problem is of great importance. It will help increase the profitability of the organization. Besides, the management team will have an easy time to monitor their employees as well as ensure adequate work supply is always recordedshortly.
