Question1. Business research is a field of practical study in which a company obtains data and analyze it in order to better manage the company. It can include finical data, consumer feedback, product research and competitive analysis.
There are some of the research data techniques such as primary and secondary data.
Primary data divided in two part quantitative and qualitative in which quantities has three different subdivision: survey data, observation data and experimental and in qualitative research its sub dived in three part such as focus group interview, depth interviews and projective techniques.
For this given question, I would be choosing one part of survey data i.e. personal interview to James so he can propose Pablo about new pasta dish.
Personal interview: is a face to face two way communication between interviewer and the respondents. Generally personal interview is carried out in planned manner and is referred to as ‘structured interview’. This can be done in much form e.g. door to door or as planned formal executive meeting.
As per from question James will ask questioners according to its Pablo requirement as he want to introduced new pasta dish for his restaurant. So on James will conduct survey in form of face to face interview which he first increase the respect to respondent making him believe that his opinion is so useful
| The customers would be influenced because if the company are financially struggling the customers are there only hope to stay profiting. If the company was to go bust it means customers will no longer be able to shop there.
