With the technology that is available for everyone to use today the priorities of what needs to be taught in the classroom has changed. Information is readily available for everyone to utilize at anytime. Students nowadays can ask Siri or Google about anything they want to know. Because of this, what students should be taught and the way that this teaching should be conducted should change. Having knowledge at their fingertips is something that the current students are used to. Should not teachers utilize this information and skills and implement it into the classroom?
Right now there are many issues that education is facing. One of them is the fact that students today need to be taught to critically think about thing and be able to collaborate with others. The flipped classroom can help with that.“The flipped classroom is often linked to problem solving, inquiry learning, and active learning plus interpersonal communications” (Logan). This active learning style is what educators should be focusing on teaching in their classrooms because now that technology is at almost every student 's fingertips there is less of a need to simply memorize things and a greater need for students to have the skills needed to function and work well when they are older and looking for a job.
In a flipped classroom “students are expected to prepare themselves outside of class using web-delivered materials. During class, the teacher does not spend much time on basic information transfer (as this is to be done outside of class). Instead, the students are expected to apply and expand their knowledge of the subject by solving problems, interacting with classmates, working on projects, or sharing artifacts of their learning” (Crews). This active learning way of teaching has both positive and negative effects.

The article I used was "Should You Flipp Your Classroom?" written Ramsey Musallan on the website Edutopia. My reaction to the concept of flip classrooms left me beleiving that it is an effective learning technique, for not only the students, but the teachers as well. A flip classroom is a technique that is used in the classroom, by utilizing the homework in class, as well as watching online lectures at home. In the classroom the assignments are hands on, and allows the students to go through a trial and error procedure, where they really get to experiance and learn whatever it may be that they are doing. When I am a teacher, i will seriously consider utilizing the flipped classroom method, because I believe that a more hands on method is more
With the help of Napoleon’s cleverness and Squealer’s persuasive speeches, the pigs are able to rule the farm through manipulation and false information in “Animal Farm” by George Orwell. After a revolution on the farm owner, Mr. Jones, the animals try to make the farm a better place for all the animals. The pigs were the leaders of the revolution and are leading the farm after they got rid of Mr. Jones.
Karl Marx describes the past as the “history of class struggles” (Marx, 262). He basically means that until the time he wrote the document he describes the existing society as a period of time that the people have been struggling. He goes on to say “Freeman and slave, patrician and plebian, lord and serf, guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another” (Marx, 262). Here he essentially states all the opposites in society and says they have been opposed to one another nonstop. He ends the topic of the past by saying each time there was a fight between the classes it would either result in a “revolutionary reconstitution of society
They found that even though the instruction was similar in the two groups being followed the class time was used vastly different. Students in the flipped classroom had more opportunity for enrichment and application. In another study by Touchton (2015), found that fifty eight percent of students who completed a flipped classroom model were more willing and confidence to pursue more classes with similar content. This is important to continue students interest and motivation in school. Marks (2015) states that flipping a classroom is the best way to addresses the ever-changing classroom dynamics. Most classrooms have students who are struggling to master they content and those who are in need of more

There have been many attempts to define the flipped classroom. The simplest definition was given by Lage (17). “Inverting the classroom means that events that have traditionally taken place inside the classroom now take place outside the classroom and vice versa”. Although straightforward this description does not accurately represent what researchers have referred to as the flipped or inverted classroom. This description would infer that the flipped classroom is purely a rearrangement of the classroom and at-home activities.

The report dwells on flipped classroom, which is about student centric learning approach rather than traditional learning. The university has the hypothetical aim of increasing the use of flipped classroom. It has partial implementation of this model and focused on extending it to other courses. Most of the courses are online with recorded lectures and few face-to-face communication sessions such as workshops primarily come under flipped learning. Though it can be considered as partial flip, there are certain ways in which it can be implemented. The following discussion on business need analysis and stakeholder analysis focus on Academic support perspective. The ways the academic support can be improved in order to enhance
The education system around the world has progressed and changed in a plentiful amount of ways, and the concept of knowledge and learning has changed in modern day. For example, certain schools around the globe are moving on to implementing technology in classrooms because it provides many benefits and statistical research that states how students are improving their academic readiness because of the instant access to information, a greater engagement and interactive process in learning, and the personalization that instructors can do towards the educational experience that students receive. The motivation to examine the flipped classroom as a theme of investigation originates from this present creator's advantage and mastery in utilizing innovation and how it can be utilized to draw in and upgrade the classroom condition today. Most secondary school seniors were conceived and grew up concurrent with the introduction of cell phones, youtube, myspace, facebook, snapchat and instagram.
