It was a dark, stormy, night. Josie and her Dad, Tod were working on the Halloween decorations outside, they were wonderful. With dark, spooky goblins and statues that moved when you walked past them, they also had cobwebs, which hanged with spiders and flashing lights. One other thing they had was fog that flew up into the air and filled around the house, giving it a spooky glow. Tod had gone inside to get a drink, when Josie heard a very low growl. She wanted to go check it out, but thought it would be better to stay where she was, since there are a lot of weird people roaming the streets on Halloween night. She was just about done, when she heard another growl, and a big SNAP! Jason ran up behind her, and tackled her to the ground. Josie started to scream, but Tod came out and had asked what Jason was doing.
“Come on Tod, I was just scaring your daughter.” Said Jason, joking around.
Tod gave Jason “the look” and Jason scooped Josie up and brought her inside. Later that night, when Josie was dressed up as Red Riding Hood, and Jason was the Big Bad Wolf, they went trick or treating. Josie’s friend, Wendy had to cancel on them, because she had to go trick or treating with her little sister. Josie knew all the houses that gave out good candy, so they hit all the jack pots. It was getting late out, and there was one more house Josie wanted to go to. It was getting dark out, and most of the houses had there lights off. Josie was determined to go to this one

Jenna felt her stomach begin to growl and she thought of the dinner her father had prepared for them before he’d left for work. Spaghetti and meatballs with cheesy garlic bread, her absolute favorite. The very thought of it was now making Jenna 's mouth water as she licked her lips in hunger. She silently wished that she would have eaten earlier with her father back when he had just finished cooking it. That was right before he had kissed her on the cheek, told her he loved her, and headed off to work the night shift as a paramedic at Saint Christopher 's Hospital. But, she was too excited about Halloween to eat just then, the anticipation of trick-or-treating being such a short time away filling her every thought with joy. She was a
It was a cold, rainy night on Friday the 13th of October. A girl, Veronica, and her four friends went to the movie theater in a spooky corner of Slash Plaza with people in bloody costumes, the ticket booth covered in spider webs and green goo, ordinarily lights flickering down the hallway.
Katrina lay soundlessly in her bed as the wind whipped and whistled against the glass of the window. She was awakened abruptly by the casting glow of a flashlight shining in on her and then trailing around the house. She slinked to her window to peer around the pane, but the light was no longer there. Instead there was a pumpkin head smashed against her window atop of horse’s body. The pumpkin began to speak and as it did, it left a trail of fog on the cold fall night. It told her never to tell anyone that she saw a pumpkin peering in on her and that if she told anyone he would burden her from her sleep and there would be no trace of her left behind. Oddly enough this voice resembled the schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane.
It was a late October night on the last night of October, Halloween. The air was not to hot but wasn’t to cold either there was a slight breeze and it felt as if it was a comforting spring evening. It was about half past nine and it was quiet, well besides the few late night trick or treaters such as my cousin brother and I, and the occasional car alarms that would be set off because of the delinquents of Glendale, Utah. It was dark by now and the street lamps were mostly all burned out besides a
It was windy and mysterious, it was also mainly dark. The trees were blowing, wolves were howling. The third reason I think NBC is a Halloween movie is because the movie setting was
I skimmed over the jack o lanterns, heard the faint sounds of trick or treat, the crumble of candy wrappers, and the smell of crisp autumn air. I’d been out for a while when I felt rain. I smelled the rain. Then tasted the droplets and saw kids run for the cars. But meanwhile my friends and I all enjoyed it and ran around in the rain still trick or treating.

“So kids, every Halloween, it is said that her ghost, roams the empty hallways of this very school, searching for another female student to take her place.” The students were now on the edge of their wooden seats, eyes wide, listening to every word Mr. Morris said. All of a sudden the loud bell breaks the silence, making each one of them jump.
“In the year of 1989, there was a street named Elm, in the state of Wyoming. Few chose to live on that street, and they all knew about the haunted house, up on the hill, on the west side of town, coming off of Elm. Once, I spent the week with some friends and, Halloween came upon us, while I stayed with them.” I was telling my first-grade brother and his friends stories to scare them out of their wits. Besides, no one wants little kids tagging along with you to go trick or treating, when you could go with your friends to Haunted Houses, and not ones set up by the town hall. “We were just about to pass the house, not thinking anything of it, when we heard a moan coming from Old Man Reaper’s house.” Their eyes grew wide with fear.
